I know it's a bit early to post on May Filing. Yazi and I were married April 23rd, so will be filing for AOS/EAD in May. best of luck to everyone else who will also be filing their AOS in May.

Very late April here, is it received date or NOA date that clasifies you?

04-17-2007 Married using K1 Vusa
04-27-07 Filed for AOS, EAD, AP.
06-28-07 Green card arrived in mail

April 2009 Filed for removal of conditions.
May 09 2007 Biometrics
Aug 31st Congratulations letter, no interview needed
Sept 21st 2009. New green card with conditions removed arrived.

N400 Status
07/26/10 N400 mailed via UPS. Three year rule
08/03/10. Check cashed.
08/06/10 NOA letter received, but "Request for evidence" showing on the status website.
08/08/10 NOA #2. Biometrics appointment letter. Scheduled for 08/31/10
08/09/10 Biometrics completed. Walk in.
11/01/10 Touched. Transferred to local (Tampa) office
12/06/10 Interview . Passed
01/11/11 Oath ceremony

Hi all, just mailed in the AOS application this morning. Hoping for a speedy process..

ps: Roy and Yazi, we have the same wedding date. Yay!!

oops, hope Yazi doesn't see I posted the wrong wedding date, 23rd. :bonk::help: could you send me a PM next April to make sure I don't forget our first anniversary. :lol:

@uk2usa: yes, I used my new last name :) If you want to keep your maiden name use that for the application, if you want to change your name and want your greencard to be in your new last name then use that. Good luck!

Wow Bora Bora! You were organized! It took me 2 weeks after our marriage to get everything together.

My package was received in Chicago on 4-25...not sure if that's going to make me an April filer or a May filer...I will let you know what date is on my NOA 1. Good luck to everyone!

I'm impressed with how fast you guys were able to file yours. We did ours within two days of getting our marriage certificate, but it took a week after our wedding to get that. We got married on a day when the clerk's office was closed and the judge said it would be a week until it was fully in the system. :wacko:
