Hi all,

I would like to bring my grandma to the States. Does I-130 apply just to spouses, children and siblings?

Thanks,

Lika

As far as I am aware - , you will not be able to petition for a grandparent.

if you go to the USCIS website it should help you , sorry but I am not good at putting the links on here

Are you a US Citizen?

G

As far as I can see, the I-130 is the petition to bring an alien relative, and Grandparent is not mentioned on the list. See this USCIS web page for details.

Maybe there are other options that I'm not aware of.

You paent could immigrate through you and then they could petition for their parents.

Bit of a long winded process.

Usually the age issue and Health Insurance aspects would make it completely unpractical anyway.
