Hello! I'm filing I -130 for my parents from the Philippines. The problem is, my fathers first name on his BIRTH CERTIFICATE & my parents MARRIAGE CERTIFICATE are misspelled. What should I do? Did anyone of you encountered the same problem? Please let me know what to do. Thanks!

They should apply for corrections  in their town municipality wherein they registered. Mine is like that my first name and etc are misspelled so before my daughter applied for petition, i fixed it first, it's quite long to fixed

hi.. Thank you for taking your time to answer my question. My mom went to LCR and they suggested to have it changed but it would take 4-6 months. How long did it take you to fix the misspelled document? thanks

It took 2 months my sis inlaw helped me to fixed straight in national statistics but before to go there,  there should have first to wait the finality of the name to be corrected done in your LCR.
