F-4 visa status refused

Hey, everyone...my and my cousin's family went for interview...and after the interview was finished....they handed my family..221(g) letter...and in it,it was written that...we need to submit..W2 form..and my cousin's family also got same letter...but they needed..i-864,&i-864a....after than we came home...and checked...my cousin's visa status....and it was saying administrative processing...and in my family visa status it was saying refuesd...so why this is happening..can anyone say me?

You got 221g - they want the requested documents. It will say refused until you give them what they want. 

 

Did they keep your passports?

No,they told to submit passports with documents

221g is usually listed as “administrative processing” until the documents have been submitted and a final determination made. Maybe this particular embassy does things differently...

That implies it is definitely only a temporary “refusal” until they get the documents then. Odd update, but in your case I’d rely more on what you were told at the embassy than what the status update is, they are not always 100% accurate.

I submitted documents on Monday...today...is Tuesday..and my status was last updated yesterday...and it is still saying "refused"..and when I tracked my passport...it's saying that:-"Passport has been received from the consular section, and it's being proceeded for delivery".. CAN U EXPLAIN THIS?
