Just thought I should share some recent update:

Day 161: I-485 Case is Ready to Be Scheduled for An Interview

Day 162: I-485 Interview Was Scheduled

Day 163: Informed Delivery shows incoming mail from USCIS

Meanwhile there's been no update on my I-765 and I-131 (the latter only submitted in July as I had initially planned to stay put until after AOS). I'm assuming they will not be processed? Considering I had a RFIE about a month after initial filing, I am relieved that things have progressed nicely in the end.

For context, I am filing from Ithaca, NY and did my fingerprints in Syracuse, NY. I'm not sure if the location in Syracuse does interviews as well so I wouldn't be surprised if I have to go to Buffalo or something. Anyone had experience with Syracuse?

Congratulations!!!

Yes, you should expect the interview to be in Buffalo, should be next month, somewhere between Sept 10-21. Good Luck!!!

Here are some reviews from people that have gone through the Buffalo Office, hope they are helpful.

Hello All ,

Hope you guys are doing well , for the filers who have received their EAD , does the EAD have a time interval on it ? If so for how many months do we usually get the EAD for ?

We received our EAD /AP combo card about over a week after our case status changed to "card in production".    The EAD/AP has expiration of 1 year.

Lucky you got a RFIE. after Sept 11, case gets denied without notice.   Luckily, i followed my gut instinct and  waited to file mine after I filed my 2017 taxes.    Everyone should consider front-loading your application and send everything you can think of not expect USCIS to be so lenient.  It seems if you are an immigrant you are not welcome here.

I am American and I filed for my Dutch Husband.

Anyone who has gone this far in the process doesn't expect USCIS to be "lenient".

You are welcome if you go the legal route and don't have anything to hide.

What do you mean by after September 11th case will get denied without notice?

Beginning 9-11 (they chose an ominous date for this, that's for sure) they may deny your AOS application without issuing RFE: https://www.uscis.gov/sites/default/files/USCIS/Laws/Memoranda/AFM_10_Standards_for_RFEs_and_NOIDs_FINAL2.pdf

Good news on my EAD (I-765). No changes on my.uscis.gov, but .egov updated to: "My New Card Is Being Produced. On August 10, 2018, we ordered your new card for Receipt Number ###########, and will mail it to the address you gave us." I was in shock when I saw the screen. I had been thinking it would be the end of August due to our month-long RFE hold. I know it will still be a few weeks for the card to get here/SSN to arrive (we checked the option for a new SSN), but this is still amazing. Time to party! 😃 For reference to anyone else waiting:

-February 26: NOA1 priority date (filed I-485, I-130, I-765, and I-131, all concurrently)

-March 26: RFE for I-864 (they missed already included evidence)
-March 28: Biometrics

-April 24: RFE response was processed & case taken off hold

-May 30: On .egov my case moved to "Ready to schedule for interview" (this update has not appeared on myUSCIS)

-June 26: The "Last action taken on your case" date updated to June 26 on my automatic "No updates" emails (even though the last real change I had seen was the May 30th .egov update). We theorized that June 26 was the date they transferred my case to the field office.

-August 10: My new card is being produced

JUst got an update that interview was scheduled!!!!!!

Congratulations !!! Do you mind me asking after how many days/weeks it is scheduled after you got the interview notice ?

The reason why I'm asking is I got a notice of action to get the updated I-693 to the interview , I need to go to the doctors office to get a new one , just want to make sure there would be enough time to that after I get the intervie was scheduled notice
