This is an automated email for inactivity of account. You can turn off at dhs site -> setting -> don't send any email if there's no update. It wouldn't affect any notification for the actual movement of your case.

Thanks for the info! However, that wasn't what I was saying about the emails, I know they are automated and about inactivity to the account. The last activity to my case that I can see was on May 30, but in the automated email it said the last activity on my case was on June 26. All my automated emails before have alternated between using the last activity date on myUSCIS (April 24) or a start date (myUSCIS says March 8, even though my NOA priority date is February 26). So it's a discrepancy, and the first change of any sort I have seen on my USCIS case at all in over a month. A few other people on the forums have noted a similar occurrence, where they received an automated email using a June activity date, although there had been no official activity. We thought it could mean an internal action was performed on our case on that date, such as the case being sent to our local field office. So a small update since nothing officially changed, but I was noting it in case anyone in this thread had seen it/experiences it in the future (I'll document if something actually happens). :)

Is your card been produced yet? Very likely your case got transferred to your local office, was told today it takes up to 120days now between the transfer and interview being scheduled. So very likely update is either transfer started or your card was produced.

No we're still waiting to be scheduled for an interview, so it must be that it is the transfer has been started. Yay! Always glad to see signs of any kind of (positive) activity, haha. ^_^

The RFE may have slowed down your EAD, but should be coming soon unless you currently got some status. As for i485 moving, when you call push for tier2 officer on,y they can see when the files starting moving.

Also when did you last use your SR? Was it more than 30 days ago?

Yes I figured the RFE must have slowed down my EAD a bit. I suspect I'm on the verge of getting it, perhaps another week or two (I don't have any status currently, and at 136 days, although some of that must not count due to RFE). Can't wait! ^_^ Thanks for the advice on calling. What is an SR though? (Probably more than 30 days since I used it since I'm not sure what it is :D).

So since USCIS tier1 ppl may block you. Other way I found out my case transferred was to use online Service Request, you could try.

https://egov.uscis.gov/e-request/Intro.do

”did not receive notice by mail” i485 case #

say you got the update “ready to schedule interview” on day xyz, then or were told your case updated on june whatever it was. But still have not got the interview letter and its Juy 11th. Wanted to know if interview was scheduled.

if your response comes back from NBC, saying you are “queued for interview, in processing time”. You know its still at NBC.

if response comes from your field office, you know its transferring and they have took over control.

A well written SR could reach an officer sometimes to force to respond. Just make sure it has dates.

What’s your response then after putting in the service request online if I may ask please?

Hi Everyone,

I checked https://egov.uscis.gov for my case status and it said that, "As of June 19, 2018, we are ready to schedule your Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status."  However, as of today, I still haven't received a letter with my interview date :(

Does it usually take this long? I tried checking my case status over the phone by entering my receipt number but it couldn't be found in their system.

Also, how can I reach an actual person over the phone? I tried calling the USCIS number from their website (800-375-5283) but couldn't get past the automated messages.

Thanks!

Call the same number, listen and press 1 for English then 2 to check your case and 2 because you can't find your receipt number and they will connect you with a customer service representative. Hope this helps

Thanks! This helped so much. I was able to speak to a representative and was notified that my interview hasn't been scheduled yet.

To anyone who has received this "Case is ready to be scheduled for an interview" notice, how long did you have to wait until the interview was actually scheduled?

Got response from field office. But today lady at infopass gave me a dumb answer again. Lord if you are not super crystal clear for the information these ppl stink. She said I am ready to schedule interview since July 10th 2018. I just wrote it off.

For record I know I been “ready to schedule” since April 19th. I know the field office took over the case in early June. So I just did not want to argue with her, especially since I was there more for how an emergency AP works.

Did she confirm that your case file is actually at the local office now? Can you please tell me what she said about how the AP works? I really wanna travel back home by the end of August.  I’ll be away for just 2 weeks but I’m worried about returning with the Combo Card USCIS issued me

She confirmed as of July10th its being moved but I knew more beforehand I just didn't want to push issue. She just read the latest update on the screen, if she scrolled down she would see its been moved there for a while.

You are good with the combo card friend. My lawyer applied for my AP much later than EAD. So unique and annoying situation. She did confirm that the AP allows multiple enty/exit with no issues.
