I've seen somewhere before, someone posted about the ssn. They received the ssn card a few days after receiving ead, both in the mail. But don't quote me on this.

This is so wonderful!  There has been no news for what felt like the longest time!

Congrats! My PD is 1/30 and courtesy letter received 3/22. Hopefully I'll receive an email soon.

 

For the SSN, I heard it's coming in your mailbox within a week after you get EAD card in hand.

We have a very similar timeline with PD, biometrics and RFIE etc, so I am sure yours will be any day now .

 

Thanks for the info on the SSN, this makes me feel much more relaxed.  Looking forward to getting on the car insurance so I can drive again!

Quick update guys this morning I got the email that my card is in production and will be mailed just wishing everyone a speedy movement on their case in this time

Btw, the update was on the dhs website, not the regular uscis website.

I guess we got that together as well I know two more people who got the same thing this morning and that website is the first it’s given me an update all other times it was the other one but thank god tears of joy

Hi guys,

 

Is anybody in this forum changing status from H1B ? I wonder if they take more time to issue an EAD for someone who is on a valid  H1B visa already ???

We received two more emails this morning notifying us that action had been taken on our case and now both the EAD and Travel Document are showing on the DHS website as Approved!  Happy days!

I’m very happy for you guys. 

 

So my i485 was changed on 06.20.18 to “case is ready to be scheduled for interview” 

I’m wondering if I still receive my EAD.

My other notification shows for my EAD which says it has been closed due to the fact I have received benefits in another way
