We called them, and they provided a request # which was later reflected on my account history through the portal.

I would recommend calling them as soon as possible.

What’s the problem with your name? The only issue I have is my name not in the correct order on my passport but my name is okay on all my order documents. So calling them will mean I change my passport and visa information in their systems which looks like a daunting task now. However, my birth certificate has the correct order of my name and I would have thought they would go by what’s on my birth certificate.

My name is wrong too. Misspelled. When I went for the biometrics appt, the manager told me to get it changed by the officer during the interview. Another option was to do an info pass and get an officer to change it, but there is never an available appointment in the Houston office.

Unfortunately, I do not know if this means my name will be wrong on the EAD card and social security card. Noa1 for i485 was wrong, but for i765 it was right. Biometrics letter was misspelled too.

I think the IO Officer during the biometrics exercise did tell me something similar when I presented my original birth certificate to him. He did say they will go by what’s on the birth certificate which is what was on my biometric appointment Letter. However, DMV and SSA did maintained the name order on my passport and I-94. But I would think this’s gonna be easy to change should USCIS go by the name order on my birth certificate

It was listed as [FIRST NAME] [LAST NAME] [LAST NAME] as opposed to [FIRST NAME] [MIDDLE NAME ] [LAST NAME].

Minor change, but had to be fixed.

Meant i485. Apparently the user defined error is now just a technical issue not mean case has changed :(. They did call back rather quick.

Hello buddy, when you say “not mean case has changed,” what do you actually mean? I didn’t quite understand because I’ve been having the user-defined error for a while now.

Has anyone been following the Dec/Jan fillers ? EAD

I've been following the January filers and it looks like most of them have been having the interview and the EAD or AP subsequently waived.
