Just got the normal e-mail saying they're still processing my case and there are no updates. I haven't gotten any courtesy letters or any RFIES, wondering if they just aren't looking at mine or if i'm really not getting any. Hope it's that i'm not getting any and that they'll be moving me along soon. Ugh waiting with no updates is so hard!

It is, for that reason I decided to mark that I do not want to receive these emails of no activity.. to not get hopes up when I see email from dhs :D

Hi,

First time poster took a while to figure out how to post here. Below is my timeline.

-Married: 12/17/2017

-Lawyer sent paperwork: 2/15

-PD and recived: 2/20

-Bio letter: 3/14

-Bio completed: 3/21

-Latest update: 4/8, biometrics review has been completed.

Been a smooth process so far, no RFIE, RFE or any letters, I sent my i693 with the paper as our lawyer said was easier. As well we sent the i864 as have sufficient income and assets.

Hoping to get the EAD soon or maybe even the interview letter. I came here on a company visa but then we got married and since have been let go by said company and now looking at my next job. If the EAD doesn't come by end of April may try to get to expedite with an offer letter.

Hi to all February filers. I see several people have update status after biometrics as “biometrics review has been completed.” Does anyone else not have update like this? Our biometrics was 3/12. No RFEs as of yet. Online status still says we have recieved your case and is in process. Same since I got my first noa.

thanks

Okay. So I guess it’s not anything to worry about. I think I might give a call to USCIS anyway.

Hello, my bio was done on 2/20, received RFIE on 2/26 and USCIS received response on 3/8. I have only received one courtesy letter after they updated my status to "response to RFIE received". So I was having the same question as whether I would get another update like "Bio review completed". I'm kind of worried it's because FBI hasn't cleared the background check on me and the case is not moving. I guess we could wait and see if EAD card will come on time (around May to July if normal?)

There is two sites which you can make an account. The DHS site which sends some email updates and USCIS site.

The DHS site also emailed me today with the same thing as posted above.

The USCIS site still has the below.

"we completed our review of your fingerprints and are working on your Form I-765, Application for Employment Authorization, Receipt Number MSCXXXXXX, at our National Benefits Center location. We will let you know if we make a decision or need anything from you. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address."
