Is normal, the ones that are getting their EAD or interviews are people with for example DACA or others kinds and are already in the system, I think the background is more fast; I hope all of us start to received it soon (fingers crossed!! :P) if suppose the process time is between 3 to 6 months and if we don't get any RFIE or RFE if we don't receive our EAD by June then we can start to make request...  yesterday they made update to the system and I checked y case and still the same... waiting game...

Happy monday everybody :)

Thanks! Houston is deadly slow and Oct 2016 filers are still waiting for their interview notices... I don't have any hope in this haha.

Oh really? Did you provide their phone numbers on any of the supports given? That is really weird how they would find the numbers and call. But I did see another filer sharing her experience: got a call from field officer to confirm all details of her case, and she got the call-in letter for interview scheduled for a week later.

I included few letters from close relatives as affidavits confirming our relationship and one of them got the call. Obviously the letters had their complete details and contact information

Really?? Because I had to chance my phone number two weeks ago... Then I need to update my phone number in the website?? My husband and I went to add my phone number to his AT&T plan you know to proof and as my old phone number was a "tracfone" because my mexican phone broke was more easy for us just buy a phone in the store... anyway in the phone store they ask me for my SSN and another stuff to keep my tracfone number... soooo as I don't have anything of that she give me a new number...

Take it easy cause this doesn't happen very often. I think if USCIS want to connect with you they can find you no matter what

I am not sure if those dates are relevant anymore, because based on those dates my Interview should have also been around July/ August time. I am getting a feeling they have made some changes to the system to process applications quicker and us lot are the 1st batch where the new system is being tried on where interviews happen prior to EAD cards

Really hope that is the case! Ever since I started the application I joined multiple groups and learn that most of Oct 16 filers are still waiting. (Their cases might have been encumbered by Harvey which hit Houston pretty hard last October thus delayed cases at the time).

There's one Houston filer in Jan thread got her interview scheduled but later cancelled... Don't know if I should keep the hope. My hope is to finish this in a year. :(
