Its supposed that when you receive that letter it is because they have already reviewed the other documents and everything is fine and correct, but how the thing are right now... I dont know

Sent out RFIE response today! Estimated delivery on Monday. Almost a whole month delay on my processing clock. Fingers crossed that the response satisfies them.

I also received the email today telling me that there are no updates on my case as of now.

noa1 date is actually they date on ur hard copy. Sadly if u reach the magical 220 day u must wait till 225 to contact Uscis. They use what the new site says. Even if ur paper says X date.

They added 5 days onto everyone’s accepted on NOA1

Status change from Need additional information to response received

How long between when your RFIE response was delivered to the status change to 'Response Received'?

It's been almost a week for us, so I'm curious as to what the normal timeline is.

We are still waiting on a couple of things before we can send our RFIE, but hopefully should be in the mail by Friday.  I have a question for everyone who has sent responses to RFE/RFIEs to USCIS: Did you include a cover letter with your RFE/RFIE response?  Thanks in advance you lovely lot :star:.

Yes I did . Just a simple one with AOS case no and the details regarding the response.

Also do not forget to include a copy of the RFE recieved and also the address you are supposed to send it cuz it would be different from the chicago address. Good luck

Yes I did. The cover letter stated all facts included in the exhibits of how they responds to the RFIE. And I agree that the copy of RFIE should be on the very top of everything. Don't forget to use the address they provided on RFIE letter.

Status on myaccount.uscis.dhs.gov changed to "We received your response to our request for more information. Your case is no longer on hold."

Woohoo!

The egov.uscis.gov website hasn't been updated. Looks like the dhs site is more accurate.

Oh, and I included a coverletter outlining what I have in the packet. I included the original RFIE letter in my submission because I forgot to photocopy it. But I scanned it before I sent it out, so I have a copy of it in my flashdrive.
