Informed Delivery sent me the daily email and there's a letter from USCIS post date 3/19. Does anyone know what it will say? They received my response for RFIE on 3/8.

Scared that it's another RFE

hey did you receive your mail as yet?

11 to 25.5 months for i485 processed in Houston...

Anyway, I just want my ead to be approved soon. Haha.

Small update: got the docs from joint sponsor. I'll be sending it out tomorrow! That's almost 1 month delay for my case as I first received the notification on March 1.

If you look at the family-based green card, it's more desperating. 18-29.5 months...

Apparently USCIS did a pretty good job in telling people what to expect in different categories. For example when I checked San Bernadino, CA, Cleveland, OH, and Houston, TX, regardless of what the big blue table say, the two line below for breakdown of employment based vs family based are actually very accurate. Folks in Houston are still waiting for interview notice for Oct 2016 cases, while in the other two aforementioned places applicants get their GC within 6 months.

BTW, the lower end of the range means approx. 50% cases will be finished around that timeframe. Game of luck!

Oh wow! That's insane. But if it is more than 24 months, we might be able to get the 10 year gc and not have to go through Removal of conditions. But it looks like I have to send in an AP application because 2 years is just too long. I want to travel. I thought it would only take a year. Told myself I can wait a year, so I didn't send in i131... But 2 years is too long.

I wish I’d know what’s next from now on but what normally happens when you get that courtesy letter? Is it a good thing

Has anyone had status changed to "ready for schedule" yet?

Since old USCIS case tracker doesn't update anymore, I now lose the source to peek in people's cases. Lol
