Well, I had my wife collect bank statement from her bank for the last 12 months, a letter from her employer justifying she’s currently working there, her number of hours and salary, her 12 months pay stubs, her 2017 W2 and  tax documents.

However, she meets the 125% poverty guidelines threshold but we also found a joint sponsor who equally submitted almost similar documents just in case.

And a cover letter addressed to USCIS

I got a courtesy letter to bring an updated I-693 medical formon a later date. However my case tracker on the website didn't update

As far as i have worked out, you can get either 1 of the 3 below responses from USCIS

1. RFIE

2.REF

3.Courtesy Letter to the applicant

I think a RFIE identifies red flags or lack of initial evidence in the application package, the RFE asks for additional evidence which could be the initial evidence submitted weren’t good enough to warrant an adjudication and a courtesy letter simply informs or reminds you about what to take or not to take to the interview, etc

In your situation, you’re good because I think you passed the initial review stage and needs additional evidence before a decision can be made on your case.

Your response sounded very solid. I don't want our friends to help as joint sponsor and my in-laws retired. Since my husband made well enough to maintain family of 10 ;), per the I-864P, I decided not to include joint sponsor and only stated in cover letter all the fact that he qualified as sole sponsor.

Hopefully we could receive courtesy letter next week!

Hello guys! Updating my timeline.

I had my biometrics appointment at the Baltimore center yesterday. I went alone and had to take the bus and train. I was afraid they wouldn't let me in with my phone but I had no problem bringing it in the center as long as it is turned off. They were also particular with the time. I got there around 9:30 but my appointment was at 11. They asked me to wait since they are only processing 9am appointments at that time. It was a busy morning in that center. The whole process was quick and probably took 30 mins or less.

Today, I received the Courtesy Letter dated March 5, for the I-693.

My PD is Feb. 8.

Hope everybody is doing well!
