Well it asked for "most recent tax year". Is that 2016 still? Ok. In that case, my husband does not have one. What do i do?

i recall reading an older post about requesting a tax transcript from IRS for the tax year and if you didn't file tax return  IRS will send you a letter that basically says you didn't file a tax return for that year.

if you can't provide a IRS tax transcript then you need copy of w-2, INT (interest from financial institutions) , and signed copy of tax return.

i am glad that i waited sending AOS application until I filed my 2017 tax return.

I sent copies of the IRS transcript for year 2015, 2016 and copy of signed tax return for. 2017, W2 and INT  and noted on cover page that 2017 transcript was  unavailable at time of filing.

Technically after BIO you wait for your EAD and AP. But you may also receive your interview notice dependening on how busy or free your local office is.

Hey guys i had to refile my application for the EAD because apparently i used an old form. Sent it with USPS flat rate mail envelope and it says it was delivered but it doesn't say who it was signed by or give me an option for proof of delivery. Did anyone else have this issue and still know it got there safely?

I guess those options just made me feel more at ease. Hope everyone is doing well with the RFIE's!

When we sent our package with USPS we paid for it to be certified, however, this did not happen.  No signature, no name.  The only way we knew it was delivered was via the USPS tracker.  Did you send a G-1145 with it?  Not sure if they will email/text you without one, however, you will eventually receive a hard copy of the noa in the mail regardless.  I heard that patience is a virtue :D.
