(EB1 India- I-140 approved with a PD 06/26/2017)

02/15/2018-  mailed through Fedex I-485, I-131,I-765 (Phoenix USCIS Lockbox) ( For me and my wife)

02/20/2018 - Package delivered to Phoenix USCIS lockbox

03/02/2018 - NOA1 text/email received ( Received 6 notifications 3 for Me and 3 for my wife). My case has been assigned to Nebraska processing center

Hey everyone! I just got the hard copy of NOA today. Couple of questions

1. I am still unable to view my status online.  I keep getting this error for all 6 of my receipt Numbers.

Validation Error(s)
You must correct the following error(s) before proceeding:

  • My Case Status does not recognize the receipt number entered. Please check your receipt number and try again. If you need further assistance, please call the National Customer Service Center at 1-800-375-5283.

Is this normal?

2. I have a priority date listed on my I-485 NOA but there is not priority date listed on my spouse's I-485 NOA. Is that how it is supposed to be since my spouse is a derivative applicant?

If anyone has any information on the above 2 queries, please let me know

That is correct. I sent two I485. We both are filing for AOS as neither of us have a GC. I am filing under the EB1 category. I am assuming both should have a priority date on it? I am the primary and she is a derivative applicant

Hey everyone! Just received the RFIE in the mail. I guessed it correctly. They're asking for tax documents for 2017 (which we do not have yet), and assets or cosponsor as husband's income did not meet 125% (even though we included an employment verification letter stating that he makes above that amount).

2017 tax return will show his income as below 125%, as he only worked the last 4 months of that year since he was a student before that. So we are just going to get a joint sponsor.

Yes , getting a joint sponsor would be your best bet. Does anyone know what are the stats on EAD time ?

I had my biometrics done , next step is EAD

Are you sure it asked for 2017? The most recent tax year is referring to 2016, since tax filing deadline for 2017 should be April 15, 2018.

Does the local ASC process the EAD card?

No, i-765 and i-131 are processed in NBC.

Well it asked for "most recent tax year". Is that 2016 still? Ok. In that case, my husband does not have one. What do i do?

Take a look at the instruction, I remember it was saying if you are not required to file tax return, attach an explanation letter or something. But at this point since your husband didn't meet the requirement, finding co-sponsor might be better than sending the employment letter again.

Hey guys i had to refile my application for the EAD because apparently i used an old form. Sent it with USPS flat rate mail envelope and it says it was delivered but it doesn't say who it was signed by or give me an option for proof of delivery. Did anyone else have this issue and still know it got there safely?

I guess those options just made me feel more at ease. Hope everyone is doing well with the RFIE's!

We included the employment letter in the original application. And an explanation that he didn't have tax returns for 2016.

I already obtained a joint sponsor and there should be no problem with supporting documents for that.

But I'm wondering what to submit with regards to my petitioner's tax docs that they're asking for.
