I called the National Customer Service Centre (NSCS) to be extra sure about my courtesy letter and they confirmed that for now my application seems to have all the required information and updated medical report will be required at the time of the Interview

However the officer kept on reminding me about "delays" several times in the 6min call. No details to what they may be, but i assume it was meant to be in general about the whole application process

Ok so after looking closely to my RFIE and the Federal tax transcript they want the Total ADJUSTED Gross income not what the sponsor makes but what he claims... and since my husband is self employed he claimed more deductions... and he didnt make the bar, so i am wondering could we do this years tax return and then apply with them orrr do i need a joint sponsor???

I think co-sponsor is your best bet

Just thought I would check in and say hi!  We have no updates to report.  Still waiting for the letter from my husband's employer to arrive.  Hopefully it will be here soon so we can get our application moving again!

Good luck with finding your joint sponsor @Nikolet Kamenov :).  We will both have our applications back up and running soon!

Good luck to everyone else with their RFIEs.  It is definitely a good thing we are getting them quickly so we can resolve them with little delay :star:.

Hopefully that will be next. Do let us know when you get it and if they update the tracker for the courtesy letter as well just like what they do for RFIE's

I don't think it is the case, a courtesy letter doesn't require any immediate action. But maybe your case will be updated to "ready for interview to be scheduled" soon!

Those will come from your i-765 and i-131 cases. "Ready for interview" is on the i-485 case.

Stumbled upon an article on CNN which says

"It is true that we've issued more RFEs recently. This increase reflects our commitment to protecting the integrity of the immigration system," said USCIS Director Lee Francis Cissna. "We understand that RFEs can cause delays, but the added review and additional information gives us the assurance we are approving petitions correctly."

Great find. That's sad for us though. This long and costly process is going to get even worse.

Yes we crossed the half of the State and was sunny and no so much snow... The part that we live was the worst, but thanks God we finished with this step, I just checked USCIS and still the same without any change "case received".

@JayDGODITRUST I got the biometrics appointment around one and a half week after the NOA:)... Sooo fingers crossed my friend!!
