This means your other files were complete and just serves as courtesy letter to remind you prepare the new medical to bring to the interview. No actual action has to be taken right now and you will get EAD/AP next!

Lol. I hope that's the case

Well it turns out that all this while; the famous yellow letter (RFE) has been in works for me since 02/23/18 but i did know about it, because as Etamkoos here my tracker doesn't update and didn't provide any updates about it ( my last update is stuck at 02/12/2018 on USCIS website) and the app recommended by people "USCIS tacker" shows my case stuck at 01/30/17 (when it was first received). Any suggestions to fix the getting the alerts issue for future

The letter was originated on 02/23/18 and posted on 02/26/18 and as always in my case so far it turned up in the mail on a Saturday (03/03/2018). But letter doesn't say RFE or RFIE instead its titled as a "Courtesy letter to Applicant"  and says that my medical form (I-693) is outdated and I need to submit an updated form. What I have understood is that I will need to get a new I-693 from the doctor, and will take it with me at the time of the interview

The I-693 form was revised on 01/02/18 and I had my medical done on 01/17/18 and in this case clearly i was handed the old version of the form

Hi Guys,

Update on our timeline in bold below:

Started preparing application packet 01/14/2018
Submitted applications via FedEx (I-130, I-130A, I-485, I-864, I-131) 02/06/2018
Received by USCIS 02/07/2018
Electronic NOA's received for I-130, I-485, and I-131 02/17/2018
Biometrics Appointment notice received for 03/06/2018 02/17/2018
Biometrics Complete (walk-in accepted in Norridge, IL location) 03/05/2018

Upon going to the appointment, they pointed out that my name was spelled incorrectly on the appointment letter.

Instead of [FIRST NAME] [MIDDLE NAME] [LAST NAME] they put [FIRST NAME] [LAST NAME] [LAST NAME]. They advised to schedule an appointment with USCIS via their InfoPass portal in order to correct this. When I searched online for guidance on this error, I came across the following link: https://egov.uscis.gov/e-request/displayTypoForm.do.

Does anyone have experience with this link or have other suggestions on how to address this issue?

Thanks,

Jason

I'm sure we can show this form to the doctor and they can redo it for free. It wouldn't be our fault right?

I'm sure i'm going to get this form too, i had my medical stuff done in the summer.
