What’s more, USCIS is requesting the co-sponsor submits only the 2015 edition of Form I-864 which is still now available online. What do we do now? Can someone help?

Guys my rfe is pretty much the same with this

It was weird because mine said

1 Submitting all tax supporting documentation (Even though I submit IRS transcript, W2s is optional per instruction so I didn't. Will send this time)

2 Doesn't meet 125% line so needed asset support or co sponsor (Even though my husband makes prob four times over that amount)

3 Meet the 125% line but needed proof for current income (Which is self contradictionary with number 2, but I will send paystubs)

What do you think? Infopass is too far away and too time consuming for me so I have to do more research on VJ

Why would i co sponsor when my initial sponsor makes double the poverty line?

I suggest you resubmit all supporting document and include a letter to explain how supporting documents (IRS tax transcript, W2/1099, employment letter, paystubs from last six months) coordinately prove that your sponsor meets the poverty line and he will continue to make beyond the line. That's what I expect to reply.

I will suggested do both, get a co sponsor and what @txkangaroo said so even if you know that you dont need a co sponsor that way you wont have more delays on your proccess... And write that very polite cover letter explaining that you husband make more the poberty line butttt you add a co sponsor just to be sure that isnt going to be a problem or something like that... this is the problem with the burocracy

I mailed back the response yesterday. It's too absurd that there are two points contradict. In the response I only provided the W2s, explained that they matched with IRS transcript and he made much more than 125% line, then provided 2017 W2 and most recent six months paystubs to prove current income. They can do whatever to my case I don't care now. That's so unreasonable if they want more.

I was about to say the same thing... there is no way i will beg people to be my sponsors when we can support 4 people not only the 2 of us... im going to write a letter today and mail it and we will see... its stupid to want a co sponsor.

Exactly, my hubby and I made 7 times of the floor number on our W2, so there's no way we pull additional investment and savings or beg another friend to co-sponsor lol. I can't even figure out, if they want us to submit evidence of assets for lack of income, how much was the gap we're going to fill in? :angry:

I honeslty dont care if they get mad too... this is stupid... we prepare soo long for these documents and spend so much money on medicals and photos and all other ####### and now that...

Yes I totally agree with you, but to be safe please consider include everything you sent off the first time in the RFE too. That way they can't miss it again. I also highlighted all numbers and emphasized the fact on the letter. Look at the thread that I quoted, there were two people received the exact same RFE, submitted the things like I said, and got speedy approval for EAD.

@txkangaroo @Nikolet Kamenov @simonvikih79 @Etamkoos

Well it turns out that all this while; the famous yellow letter (RFE) has been in works for me since 02/23/18 but i did know about it, because as Etamkoos here my tracker doesn't update and didn't provide any updates about it ( my last update is stuck at 02/12/2018 on USCIS website) and the app recommended by people "USCIS tacker" shows my case stuck at 01/30/17 (when it was first received). Any suggestions to fix the getting the alerts issue for future :rolleyes:

The letter was originated on 02/23/18 and posted on 02/26/18 and as always in my case so far it turned up in the mail on a Saturday (03/03/2018). But letter doesn't say RFE or RFIE instead its titled as a "Courtesy letter to Applicant"  and says that my medical form (I-693) is outdated and I need to submit an updated form. What I have understood is that I will need to get a new I-693 from the doctor, and will take it with me at the time of the interview

The I-693 form was revised on 01/02/18 and I had my medical done on 01/17/18 and in this case clearly i was handed the old version of the form

This means your other files were complete and just serves as courtesy letter to remind you prepare the new medical to bring to the interview. No actual action has to be taken right now and you will get EAD/AP next!
