Just got my biometrics letter in the mail! Got to it just in time, half of it started getting wet from this storm we have here.

Appointment is for the 15th, 11am in Revere, MA. Any other Boston filers try doing an early walk-in?

Hi everyone! Did anybody experience getting a mail regarding biometrics without receiving an e-notification first?

USPS informed delivery sent me an e-mail that I am getting a mail from uscis today.

I already received my NOA1 so I am assuming it is my bio letter or I am thinking maybe it is an RFE or RFIE.

Just got my mail and it is for my biometrics. Schedule is on the 13th of this month. PD is Feb 08.

If any applicant receiving an RFIE has a spouse (sponsor) that started employment in or after 2017 and they did not include a letter from their employer stating salary, hours worked, etc, then this could be the reason.  At least, this was the reason for ours, (plus the six months paystubs).  I didn't look through the I-864 form or instructions with a fine tooth comb as I let my husband do that part.  I should have, in hindsight, but I went OCD with checking the rest of the package that I was happy to not be too involved with the I-864.  Lesson learned :jest:.

There are, however, many reasons for an RFIE.  It could be an issue with a certificate or the translation of one.  I look forward to everyone updating this thread with their experiences regarding their RFIE.

I hope my husband's employer sends this letter to us quickly so we can send it in to USCIS.  Waiting is hard enough as it is, right?! :).

I was daydreaming if I could send them back the same day when it appears in mailbox, but now I've decided I'll do more research work first. (And because I just use Company printer so no access to it during the weekends lol)

Will update once the letter received, hope mine is an easy fix too.

We did not send payslips too cause we thought it was optional. Lesson learned when we let the husbands work on the forms. I am OC too but all the numbers, taxes, etc stressed me out. Lol

We are doing this with a immigration lawyer and when they send us all the forma for a review my husband didnt wanted read all  because he told me if you already read it is fine... And I was like #######!! We didnt send a empleyer letter but he has been in the same job for more then 4 years... His paystubs show also how much he is making whole year and send it 6 months of paystubs all the tax return that his account guy made from 2016 and add the number of 2015 and 2014 and my birth cert translated with a certificated office... Soooo I hope dont get any RIF (fingers crossed!!) But I made him read everything hahaha also the lawyer talk with him to explain his paystubs like for around 40 min about his numbers... Hahahaha
