i sent the tax for 2017 also the optional 2016 and 2015 also i put the W2 forms pay stubs and 1040 because my husband is both self employed and works in a restaurant. I really dont know what else they could possibly want...

What i understood from the above response was that you already included W2 and tax returns from 2017

No but i did cross both of them on the form and i also have no income and we werent married before so he didnt file his taxes with me. This year we will file together.. i am thinking maybe they want the taxes for 2017 now that you can file them and we can file them together?!

But reading this post suggests you did not submit 2017 W2 and tax return

Lol I am confused

Had my Biometrics appointment today. Arrived with only 5 minutes to spare from the scheduled appointment time. Despite the ASC being 40min drive from my home my spouse had something to say about how far we had to drive LOL, i can only sympathise with those who will be driving XXhours to the ASC

It took only 10minutes to complete the procedure, you get in a line first, they see your appointment letter and a govt issued ID (passport or license) and give out a form (basic info form i.e. DOB, Name, Ethnicity, weight, eye/ hair colour) for you to fill. Filled form is handed back upon which a callout no. receipt is given. Then they call your no. after which you are finger printed and mug shot photo is taken. Thats it !

Fill out the satisfaction survey form and you are good to go.

Haha, you see; it is easy to get confused.

What i would do in this case is to prepare a nice and sweet letter explaining all the facts till you get the actual RFE

Hey Nikolet!  So I think I may have an idea what they are requesting from you in the RFIE, if it is regarding the I-864, based on your posts.  I understand you sent 6 months paystubs for your husband's employment.  As this was in 2017 they will also require a letter from his employer.  Did you send this?  I can tell you what is needed in the letter if you would like? :).

For anyone that is required to send the medical it will be an RFE, not an RFIE.

@Nikolet Kamenov@harhad@Etamkoos

I think it's okay not to send the medical(i-693) and affidavit of support (i-864) at the time of concurrent filing as long as you bring them to interview. So not sending the medical should not be the reason for a RFE or RFIE.

Based on what's posted in VJ, most RFIE were for i-864, they need IRS Tax Transcript, W2 and all related tax forms, paystubs from past six months, and employer's letter. I've also seen RFIE for birth certificate (often when the original language wasn't English). Let's wait and see what everyone got in their RFIE letter! Lol

I counted the time it took for NOA1 and bio letter to arrive in our mailbox, both letters took four business days from the post date. So there's chance for me to see the actual letter TOMORROW! How excited ;)

We are taking the medical with us to the interview.  That way we will do it close to the time it is needed instead of in advance.  They will send an RFE for the I-693 as protocol for the medical, but it does not delay the process and it is not required in advance :).

Pretty that would be just a courtesy letter to remind you bring the medical when interview happens. Never heard of anyone received a RFE for not submitting it...
