Hi @Nikolet Kamenov, did you recieve your greencard after your interview ? we had our interview in sept but I still havent heard back from them , I saw it most of the posts online that they get the green card approval within a week after the interview.

I'm worried. My EAD renewal packet was supposed to be delivered to the Chicago lockbox by Jan 11, but right now it is still in transit. I hope my documents don't get lost or fall in the wrong hands...

Hopefully everything went well . Can you please tell what all documents did you have to send for EAD approval ?

Also did you have your interview ?

Hey! Mine will be one year next month. About to send my EAD renewal today.

If the interviewing pace keeps up, we should be interviewing in about 6 months' time! Have you done your medical? I should start looking into it.

Hey, I know Houston recently sent interview letters to July and August 2017 PD, but it stopped after the new year. I'll probably get the medical done sometime after March, since flu shot is seasonal requirement for the vaccines. Hopefully we could get the interview before October...

Hi guys,

I am applying to renew my EAD and got a question. I came here with F-1 visa and got married for AOS but I am currently not going to school so my SEVIS is terminated. Should I still fill out my SEVIS number in the form or leave it blank?

Thank you

Yay, congratulations!

No you don't need it. The blank was intended for student OPT EAD.

Hi guys,

So I submitted a renewal package for EAD but not with the AP, is it still ok?

Yes it's okay. Your new EAD card would have the line for "re-entry permit" but you can apply for AP anytime after you submit the EAD renewal.

@Nikolet Kamenov

You should call and ask to speak to a tier 2 officer an no the generic call center for those generic answers she gave you.

CONGRATULATIONS!!! That's amazing! Now we know they're definitely interviewing 2018 cases. I have a few questions for you:

1. Did you get an "Interview scheduled" notification/status update?

2. Did you see the piece of mail on USPS informed delivery?

3. Did you stop receiving the biweekly "no activity notification" emails from the DHS website? The last time I received that email was on Dec 13th. So at this point, I have missed 3 of those and I am wondering if our case is in-transit to the Field Office or even already there.

Thank you! 🙂

Thank you for sharing all those details! We know from a Level 2 officer that we are on the "pick list". We are not in a rush, though. Our 2 year marriage anniversary is in August. So at this point, they might as well just interview us then.

Did you look for civil surgeons on this page? https://my.uscis.gov/findadoctor

$1,000 is outrageous. I would try to get as much as done on your own. Provide your own immunization records, get the shots elsewhere. You may even want to look for a civil surgeon in a neighboring state.
