fries and mayo is a common thing in france too.. my husband is always disgusted when he sees me eat my fries this way. just as when i put ketchup in pasta. ;)

Ketchup in pasta! That gets you a ticket on the crazy train.

My husband puts mayo on everything. It's kind of gross and what's weird is he is insanely thin. I don't get it. I prefer ketchup.

03/12/2005 NVC sent I-864 fee bill to me.

03/28/2005 Received NVC case number and I-864 bill.

03/29/2005 Husband in Turkey receives DS-3032

04/01/2005 Husband mails the DS-3032 via UPS.

04/02/2005 Sent fee bill overnight to NVC

04/15/2005 Received IV Visa bill.

04/16/2005 Overnighted IV Visa bill.

05/11/2005 Received I-864 packet.

05/16/2005 Faxed requests for tax return transcripts.

06/01/2005 Received tax returns from IRS.

06/02/2005 Received W-2's from IRS.

06/03/2005 Mailed I-864 packet with required documents.

06/06/2005 NVC received I-864 packet.

06/17/2005 Mailed DS-230 papers to husband.

06/24/2005 Called NVC, I-864 is complete

08/18/2005 NVC received biographic info from husband.

09/15/2005 NVC message, RFE (not enough passport pages copied and sent)

09/30/2005 NVC receives RFE, entered in system.

11/01/2005 CASE COMPLETE!!!!!!

12/27/2005 INTERVIEW IN ANKARA!!!

12/27/2005 Was told to get a joint sponsor (total #######)

01/20/2006 Embassy received our joint sponsor packet.

01/30/2006 Visa arrived at my husband's house via UPS!!!!

02/03/2006 Husband comes home to Austin, Texas!!!

Fat free mayo just doesn't work though...LOL

Gotta say, I thought the idea of fries on bread with mayo was totally disgusting, and my arteries squeeze just thinking about it...but it ain't half bad... too evil though. LOL

It's funny how many around here think that it's the most unnatural thing to put mayo on fries while folks around here seem to be quite fond of potato salad which is, in essence, cooked taters with mayo. Pointing this out is usually all it takes to convince even the hardest opponents that it's okay to put mayo on fries.

Never tried fries and mayo :no:

They put mayo on their grill cheese sandwiches, on peaches, in their mashed potatoes.

I think they like mayo on everything here :lol:

I have had fries with the chicken sandwich sauce from Rotten Ronnies.

That tastes really good. :yes: ,

Or fries dipped in sweet n sour sauce or ketchup & vinagar.

March 9th, 2010, Received GC that has been lost in the mail for 10 months. Still waiting for my son's that is lost as well.

Filed Waiver for my son's 10 year GC and it was approved. He finally received his GC after its been missing for 2 years.

Thanking God this is over for 10 years.

I love fries and mayo too! Here in Germany, the most common things are fries with ketchup or with mayo or with both.

I was surprised when someone asked me if I wanted gravy on my fries in the US. After a short second of confusion I thought to myself "Man, that is a great idea - fries SOAKED in gravy. Why didn't I think of that earlier???".

My husband, good ole Okie boy that he is, LOVES mayo on his fries, and only mayo on his burgers (yuck! you need a little ketchup on that at least!). At one of his favourite restaurants, our fave waitress brings a bowl of mayo over to the table as soon as we sit down -- we don't even have to ask anymore. :P
