It was surprise to see how long they took to expedite your case, but better late than never, you got it!!!

Im trying to contact the USCIS with the costumer service number provided and i chose the one for checking the application status and theyre asking for the receipt. So i just typed my receipt number since i cant type the MSC letters, but theyr saying its incomplete. I want to check my EAD status coz its more than the processing time already. How can i talk to any of their representative since i cant find any option in the number they gave.

Type 6 is for M ,7 is for S n 2 is for C so just type 672 thenbyour receipt number. Then the system. Will repeat your receipt number n if is correct gonna tell you to press 1

Hello everyone, 

 

Just wanted to join in the conversation because I'm sitting at home feeling stressed and concerned about the topic. 

I have a job offer pending, and since early January, I've been delegating between USCIS and company so that I won't lose the job opportunity...  

I've been waiting for 150 days since October for my EAD card. 

Since early Feb, I've been calling USCIS almost every day to check up on my status. 

I've been looking at everyone's timeframe - it seems like we're all in a similar situation. 

 

This is my timeline: 

<2017>

- Sent I-485 and I-765 application in mid-September

- I-765 application received on Oct 3rd

- Request for Evidence on Oct 27th

- Biometrics appointment on Nov 8th

- I-485 application received around mid-November. 

<2018>

- Request to expedite around late January. 

- Faxed acceptance letter in early Feb. 

- Request to expedite was assigned to an officer on Feb 12. 

- After speaking with an officer, realized that I-765 was filed under a wrong category, therefore requested to review error on Feb 14. 

- Request to review administrative error was completed on Feb 20. 

- Request to have case expedited was completed on Feb 27 (USCIS sent a letter to notify that they'll be making a decision soon). 

 

As you can see, there's been a delay because of an administrative error. 

I'm hoping that they'll make a decision this week, and send me the EAD card next week. 

Let's hope that the EAD card will arrive safely in my letter box...

I didn't have any RFE or RFIE.. it took 187 days for ead.

My AOS interview was scheduled too for May.

How about your case?
