Just to show how serious this is: here is a person who had his naturalization revoked for using a false name to enter. They caught him out using....fingerprints.

Aok thank you so there is possibility that he does not have visas because of it

Yes there is the possibility, if he lied in his latest application about his previous application they will definitely catch him out on it and the lie makes it worse.

if he told the truth then not sure what the problem is

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”

Basically saying he did not lie and asking people to pray for him so I am now even more confused.

I mean if he takes his fingerprints and if he sees the traces of maintenance going on he will not lie

On his current application (DS260 form), did he disclose his previous visa denial?

Did he fill in the name he used before under the “other names used” section?

if the answer to both these questions is “yes” then he will probably be ok.

if he didn’t lie about anything, why are you (OP not boiler) so worried about the fingerprints?

prayer is not going to help. Doing the right thing according to immigration law is what he needs to do.

because of the inversion of the names and the error on the date of birth I specify that his name is Mahedine Suleiman but in the old his name was Suleiman Mahedine is serious

if he asks the CO to do a DNA test, can not he finish the problem?

No because lying is very serious. He should be honest up front on the forms if they then ask for dna that is up to the embassy.

Why can’t you accept that being honest and listing all used names and the denial on the form plus using his real date of birth with the correct birth certificate is the way to go?

Other people with incorrect birth certificate, quite a few from Philippines, come in here for advice before they apply for a visa.

Did he, or did he not, state the other way as one of the “other names used” on the DS260?

and now there is a birth date error too?

the simple fact of submitting a form that you sign as true but isn’t, is serious.

you might think the error is minor but the US may well look at it as him trying to hide something, they perhaps cannot do a complete background check for example if they don’t specify other names' they wonder what he is hiding.... Again this is why they have fingerprints... to catch people out.

You should never lie or misrepresent to US immigration, the consequences can be severe.

What does that have to do with anything? There are SECURITY ISSUES involved here, regarding the background check and necessity of all names on the DS260. It’s not just about proving kinship. If you lie on an official US immigration form you risk a ban, simple. Every embassy and every consulate has signs up about this. There is no “I did not know”.
