Driver Licence in New-York for Moroccan

Hello VJ! My husband arrived in USA 10 days ago. Can he drives a car with his Moroccan driver license ? And how to get manual on Arabic language to past the test for permit and driver license in NY?

No he cant drive on moroccan license.

He needs to learn english.

In summary, it took 13 months for approval of the CR-1.  It took 44 months for approval of the I-751.  It took 4 months for approval of the N-400.   It took 172 days from N-400 application to Oath Ceremony.   It took 6 weeks for Passport, then 7 additional weeks for return of wife's Naturalization Certificate..

he could either learn English or petition the Democrats to add 43,389 different languages on traffic signs.

Looks like he has 30 days in which he can use his current license and then needs to have a US one.

 

Well 20 more as he has been here 10.

In NY we have a books in Arabic language, not only Arabic in 13 language. And I am asked for that books. But people don’t know what is going on and just typed something like he should to learn English.

He can apply for an international license / I got mine at AAA auto club to go to Morocco / that allows him a little more time to take the needed written and road test

He can study the online book in Arabic but needs to take the test in either English or Spanish

and Cngratulations Dana on the new baby and the visa 

and good luck now with your new life

Thank you Jeanne so much. You, as alway,s ready to help. Yes we have a schools here, and we are found few so he can learned in Arabic, online hard to find Arabic questions, but he will go to school. Thank you again

My husband speaks English, but he can pass test in NY in his native language, and this is easier for him .
