We are very excited but something is alarming for us. They marked dates on the sheet from sept.- 1st of January where it says "...the petition is approved for status...its is valid for 4 months..."

We literally just got the email today and it appears the validity of our petition expired on the 1st? But the rest of the sheet shows that everything is in order. Also remember that we were also given a final interview date. I'm confused. Any one that has gone through this, if you can shed any light it would be appreciated.20180128_221827.thumb.jpg.cb40b6ef3750eec8b1d4c619f8a7afd2.jpg

If I'm understanding your issue, you should be fine. Please see the instructions the Sydney Consulate has in it's packet 3 regarding a revalidation letter

Here's the link: https://au.usembassy.gov/wp-content/uploads/sites/81/K-Required-Documents.pdf

and here's the actual section on revalidation I copied and pasted for you.

Revalidation Letter: Copy only  Your I-129F petition may expire by the time you attend your final visa interview. To revalidate your petition, please have your U.S. citizen fiancé(e) provide you with a letter requesting that your petition be extended to a further 4 months from the approval date of the I-129F petition. This letter must be dated and signed by your fiancé(e) The letter from your U.S. citizen fiancé(e) should state their intention to still marry you within 90 days of your arrival into the U.S. with the K-1 visa and that you both are still free to marry.

Hope this helps.

Actually yes that helps alot. I wonder why they wouldn't just explain that it is expired?

The expiration date should be written on your noa2 actually.
