No word at all after sending I-145

I sent the paperwork in July 2017, and I have heard NOTHING. I feel as if they never received the paperwork because the check hasn't even been cashed. My husband arrived in Feb 2017 and we got married in April 2017. 

Is there any steps I should take? Has this happened to anyone else?

 

In case it IS lost, will I have to re-do all the paperwork?

Did you get appointment for fingerprints (biometrics)?

 

Yes if it’s lost, unless the mail carrier you used can find it, then you will need to redo the paperwork and start waiting again.

My check hasn’t been cashed.  I’m starting to believe it was lost when it arrived or in the mail.  

 

I wash hoping someone who’s had this happen to them can help.

Ah, all cases like that on here have meant it was lost. Sometimes on contacting the mail carrier used ( ups/day/usps) they have managed to find it but I haven’t seen one left as long as yours. 

 

When you do resend it then it will be restarting the wait time because as far as USCIS are concerned they never started the processing clock for you. 

 

Hopefully someone who has experienced this can come along and give advice
