After two months, my case status didn’t update at all like yours. I would call them to ask what happened. Or contact your congressman at least.

Hi, did u call congressman for ur case? have you gotten any updates? it is now 170 days for my i-130 and i-485 and 149 days for EAD but i still have NO updates for any of my cases whatsoever.I will wait till the end of August and see what will happen.Im just so frustrated...

Hi, my first bio appointment ( for i-485 and i-130 ) was on March 28th but my work permit got rejected in the beginning so I reapplied for i-765 on March 6th and they they sent me another letter for another biometric appointment and my second appointment was on April 11th for my work permit. And I still haven't heard anything.Should i count it from the date that they received my case which is March 14th or should I count it from the day that I got my Biometrics appointment which is April 11th?

how long have you been waiting for? its been almost 6 months for me

You need energy or pateience. Or nothing is going to happen. Your congressman will do nothing unless you provide them some information of why you are in a rush.

If you generally want to know where your case is your best bet is getting an "infopass" and going and asking them what is the status for all your cases.

There is no updates on either USCIS or DHS sites when you login?

Nope nothing.Been 171 days and it says " case was received" for my i-130

Been 158 days and it says " fingerprint fee was received " for my i-485

and been 149 days and it says " case was received " for my i-765 aka work permit

I havent gotten any RFEs yet either

The reason why im getting paranoid is most people at least got some kind of update regarding their cases like it is ready to be scheduled for an interview even if they still havent received their EADs.For my case, however, it doesnt say anything other than case was received and it has been almost 6 months. It is not that i am rushing, it is that i am thinking something is wrong compared to similar timelines to mine

i130 will never have an upate. Your i485 could be done background checks or not which is the main driver of everything. You need to start calling them and asking whats going on, or building a case for an expedite via your congressman/senator. Truly I would do both.

Need to find out is your i485 at "Ready to schedule Interview" phase. Is your "FBI check" clear? Is your "name check" clear?

The reality is that processing times have gone from 2.5 to 5 months, to 5-7 months and could possibly push to 8 months soon here. Most field offices are trying to get i485s done in 8 months so very likely the slower offices and EADs will continue to suffer soon.

Make an infopass, and call the 1-800 # and try to ask to talk to Tier2 officer.

Hii...

Most people get their social security card within a week of getting their ead

It should come from the social security office, not uscis.

Thank you very much! I worried but EAD arrived to my mail box last Sunday and SSN envelope arrived today on Friday so your right it was 5 days to after EAD.
