My local office is in San Diego and processing time is between 6-18.5months.

I started having the user defined error last March 27, maybe thats the time when my local office recieved my case.

Did you try calling USCIS again?

I did try but the customer service representative is just saying that my case is still pending, which I do know and they don’t want to transfer the call to T2.

I did call USCIS about twice and on both occasions the customer service was left with no  choice than transferring me to the T2. They told me the two times I’be called that my case is in queue to be scheduled for an interview but when I pressed further to know about the user-defined error as well as when it’s gonna be fixed and where my case was the 2nd IO told its still in the National Benefits Center. So I’m not sure what next now. Did you try checking your case on the DHS website? Mine hasn’t updated there since March 15th when it updated to inform about receipt of my RFIE response.

We’re in the same boat. My PD is February 02, NOA1 February 11th,  RFIE February 27th, Biomass March 07th and the mysterious update on April 07th which led to the User-Defined error(s). Nothing since then. No EAD as well. Frustrating! My local office is Norfolk, Virginia. Per USCIS processing time they are taking between 6.5 months to 20 months to schedule and interview. What’s your local office?

IM IN NORFOLK VIRGINIA TOO  IS IT FAST OVER THERE

Mine is also the same. Did you file I-130 and I-485 concurrently? I wonder if concurrent filling will take longer?

I don’t think so because they’re still processing early October 2016 cases as of now per their timeline on the USCIS website

Hey guys! Can I just ask for your input. I'm just about to file AOS and I visited the SSA before my marriage to put in my application for an SSN. Since I don't have my SSN yet, I will fill out that I have not been officially issued an SSN on the I-765 work authorization form. But for those of you who were in the same position (did not have an SSN, but were in the process of getting one), did you click yes or no to "Do you want the SSA to issue you a Social Security card" question on the same form? I mean I do want them to issue me one, but I also already applied just a few days ago.

I clicked no. Because if I will get one from the local SSN office, I don’t need another one , right? That’s what I think.

I filed AOS for my mom. PD is Feb 20. Did Biometrics in March. Since then, nothing on EAD or no interview scheduled. They've been married for 7 years now, soon 8. Sent a pretty good package with proof of marriage.

Any Feb filers get interview notice ? Also, do u guys think there's a possibiity interview will be waived?

Called 2 weeks ago and was told we were outside the normal processing times and she would put in a request and I should hear something in 5-10 days. Called on the 10th day and was told they actually have 30 days to respond. Then Saturday we got an RFI. They claimed I never submitted check stubs, tax returns, employment letter these are all easy things to resubmit but it feels like when whoever was questioned they immediately generated a letter saying how I made a mistake.

Any my idea how long after these documents are sent back in it will take for the AP/EAD cars or the AOS?  Thanks in advance everyone

Hey everybody,

Got this email today from my USCIS account. So apparently nothing new but still they say we last took action on your case on May 22nd... what could that be? Any idea?

I am going to try and call to see what they say. But not sure that will lead me anywhere.
