I included the job offer, but rejected with the same exact response.

Shoot :( when did you send it? Great, they stopped waiving interviews, extended waiting time for ead and now they are refusing to expedite people’s EAD... I send mine on may 5’th and till now No response but looking how they started to behave I am pretty sure what kind of answer to expect. Just perfect.

No good news bruh. No EAD yet and my I-485 case still in the user-defined error(s). It hasn’t been easy for me for the last six month since I moved here. I sometimes imagine what’s going on here. We were thoroughly investigated, saw that we had a bonafide relationship before being awarded the K1 Visa with the option to get married within 90 days to be eligible for permanent residency which we did. Yet nothing as of now. I mean absolutely nothing. Sad!

I have the same issue with the user defined error in the USCIS case tracking site (https://egov.uscis.gov/casestatus/landing.do) but yerster I tried to DHS site https://myaccount.uscis.dhs.gov/ and this worked for me. Not sure if you knew this but just an FYI.

The DHS website also does work for me but didn’t update when I received a notification by text message to sign in to the USCIS tracker website for an action on my case on April 7th.

Ah I see. Hopefully we will all hear something soon.  Like someone mentioned January filers seem be receiving responses, which is good!:D

Could you provide more information? Where are you in the i485 process, waiting for interview to be scheduled? Are you past 90 days on your PD? Is your spouse working? Did the company show loss? Were you k1 previously?

I was referring to expedite the EAD, not 485. My 485 is still far from any movement.

Hi all,

today I received an initial interview letter for my AOS at Raleigh office. My interview is on June 25th. My NOA1 date is Feb 21 and I am adjusting from K1 here. We are super happy and hoping and praying the interview does not get cancelled (as some Raleigh filers have had that update).

My husband is in the military and is deploying in July so this really couldn't have come at a better time for us. Good luck to you all on getting your interview dates and I'll keep you all updated,

Sophie :)

Wow..great!! Congratulations...thank God...

Hi everyone, I submitted my AOS application and my priority date is February 13, NOA1 is February 22.

I received an RFE for my I485 because I forgot to include the original birth certificate (I only sent the copy), then completed my biometrics on March 20 and responded to the RFE letter. My status was later updated to "your case is no longer on hold" in a week.

On April 4, my I765 status got this update: "We reviewed your biometrics and are still processing your case" and same for my I485 on April 18.

And this was the last update I got about my case. Do you think raising a service request or contacting my representative is a good idea? or should I just wait.

Thanks!

Raising a service request will not help as they will tell you that your case is within the processing time.

It would be better to just wait and check the processing times for the cases.

I765 cases usually takes 5-7months as per the IO I spoked with during my infopass. And the I485 will depend on your local office processing time.

Here is the link where you can find those informations : https://egov.uscis.gov/processing-times/

It’s been a while man. Any good news yet? May I ask you if the clock starts ticking at the local office when your I-485 case is transferred or when the National Benefits Center starts processing your case?

Hey!

Still no news about my case.

I’m checking the trend here in my local office for K1 visa holder and it usually takes 4-5months to get the interview to be scheduled. I did received and RFIE which resets my PD to March 14.

How about you? any news yet? I will try to schedule an infopass again maybe last week of June.

We’re in the same boat. My PD is February 02, NOA1 February 11th,  RFIE February 27th, Biomass March 07th and the mysterious update on April 07th which led to the User-Defined error(s). Nothing since then. No EAD as well. Frustrating! My local office is Norfolk, Virginia. Per USCIS processing time they are taking between 6.5 months to 20 months to schedule and interview. What’s your local office?

My local office is in San Diego and processing time is between 6-18.5months.

I started having the user defined error last March 27, maybe thats the time when my local office recieved my case.

Did you try calling USCIS again?

I did try but the customer service representative is just saying that my case is still pending, which I do know and they don’t want to transfer the call to T2.
