Thanks, it was a bit of a shock that we got this.  Maybe they realized they had denied it for no good reason the first 2 times, lol.

congrats, that was fast!

So happy that February filers are having some movements with their cases.

Hoping will get an update with my cases as well, still stucked with the user defined error on mg i485.

Thank you, yes the EAD did happen quick.  We also have the error on the Phone App and on the USCIS standard site it shows nothing when you go into the AOS.  On the myaccount new site, no updates there.  Neither shows anything about the Interview that is scheduled.  We did not receive any emails or text for it, just the letter in the mail.

Good to know, as far as not receiving notifications for interview.

Congrats. Was it an expedite rejected or some silly form error?

Seems will only need the ead for about a month or so anyways.

It was rejected for wrong payment or no payment and wrong form both times.  It was originally submitted with the AOS.  Yeah, only for a short time, but at least she can start looking and find something.  She is extremely bored sitting at home all the time.  Plus we can get her State ID and work on getting her Permit to drive.  It is a great thing.

Congratulations for the EAD. That is great news. Quick question, when you got your EAD rejected, did they send you a notification for that? And how long after you applied did they notify you for this? I am a January 2018 filer and still havent gotten any news. Im getting stressed out.

Wait, are you saying that you haven't gotten your NOA1 yet for the EAD?  Did you send it with the AOS?  The first time it was rejected, we mailed it with the AOS, the AOS was received and acknowledged on 2/2.  We received it back on about 2/14 and resent it the next day.  I think that the 2nd one took about a month to get it back and we received it about 3/15 and again sent it back the next day.  They received it on 3/20, but did not acknowledge it until 4/4.

I filed for my AOS with my EAD and AP. I also got my NOAs for all of them within the week of filing so I'm ok with that part. But I haven't gotten any updates since then. 

 

In one of your posts, you said your EAD got rejected. I was just wondering if they notified you of the rejection. Did they send you a letter or was it notified to you on the USCIS website? Were the letters sent in those dates you just told me?

Ok, the first 2 times that I sent the EAD, it was never recognized and therefore I did not get a NOA for them.  So it never started.  It is like they never received it.  Once you have the NOA, then it is just them taking their sweet time.  Have you done the Bio-Metrics?

I see. They sure take their sweet time. I already did the Biometrics in February. Ill keep everyone posted.

We got the same letter on Saturday and our interview the same day in the same field office!
