My mom has filed (finally, lol) for naturalization. She lives in San Antonio with my stepdad, she is 83 and has had a greencard for over 35 years. I am so excited for her! I filed online at the beginning of the month for myself, so we're seeing who gets through first :D

I will keep you guys posted on her progress. They mailed the application on 02/12/2018, so they will likely get the NOA next week. Good luck everybody!!

To everyone: don’t sweat on the timeline shown in your case details as its not accurate at all. My completion date was listed as Oct 2018 and i got done today. That’s a 10 month difference.  In my experience, online cases have fared much faster than paper.

Hi guys! We just got an update on the website that my husband’s interview has been scheduled. We’re just waiting for the paper notice. We applied 1/19/2018 with walk-in biometrics on 2/1/2018. Less than a month for the interview schedule for the San Antonio office!

Mom got her NOA on 2/18/2018, and her biometrics have been scheduled for 3/16/2018.  I opened an account for her on the USCIS site so she can keep track of her status herself.
