I am a little sad, when i saw this morning the first update on my case, and the estimated completion date is March 2019. I filed online, paid online as well, that part was super easy, scanned all documents and uploaded, but the estimated completion time is 14 months.

My field office is San Antonio. Anyone filing in SA with similar completion date or earlier? #sosad

I'm afraid i cant move or leave the country while this process is happening, as my husband and I are planning to move, just dont know when. Any advice here?

Thank you for reading <3

Just because you have an application pending does not mean that you now have a leash and are tied up and cannot live your life.  Of course you can move or travel

YMMV

I was sad when I read my estimated time for my interview was 22 months for the Dallas office.  I don’t understand why they cannot give people an option to go to another field office with less of a wait time. ☹️

It should improve once you finish biometrics done. But overall SA is taking around 9 months to a year on average .  But few people are lucky to finish in 7 to 8 months .

So the date showing is just a "safe to say it will be done by then" date but could be faster?
