Please help my b1b2 visa is cancelled becouse of using emergency madicaid for having baby in USA and my hospital bill is covered and i want to pay back for maidicaid and re aplly for turist visa.

do you think it will work that way?

Is there anyone who have the same expiriance and get solved am desperate to know.

First you have to see if you can pay it back. Because if you can that will be the proof you will show when you apply for a new tourist visa.

To be honest this will take some time. You aren't going to get another tourist visa anytime soon. Best to use this time to investigate paying off the medical bill and collecting evidence.

Also, what is the reason you want to return to the US? Because right now you are too high of a risk. The reason I say that is because you say you are desperate to know how to solve this. If you have any sign of desperation the CO will deny you again.

You haven't provided much information so I can only tell you in generalities.  I assume you came to the USA on a tourist visa with the intent of giving birth to your child in the USA.  A tourist visa is not for the purpose of delivering a baby in the USA.  Plus using emergency Medicaid, you became a public charge.  It's unlikely you would be able to enter the USA for 5 years.  Even after that it may be difficult to get a tourist visa.   Based on your comment above,  I get the impression you only want to pay back for the expenses Medicaid paid out IF it will help you get another tourist visa.

I think you need to focus on paying back the medical bill.  Once that is complete and some time has passed, advice may be more relevant then.

Good luck

Only the hospital can reimburse Medicaid.  You would need to contact the hospital billing department to make your payment.  Once you pay the hospital, they will then reimburse Medicaid.

Contact the Hospital billing dept, I am sure they will be able to help.

Probably just need your credit card details, now this is a VISA rather than Visa situation.

No visa for you anytime soon. How much do you owe? 20-30k? Pay it off first. Also, why is it so important for you to get another visa in the future? Wanna deliver again? If it's just for tourist to see the country, I'd say there are more beautiful places in the world. Note that going forward, CO will look at you very closely. You already used your visa to give a birth and country paid tons of money for that. Not good.

Pretty sure the desire for a visa “sometime” in the future relates to having a child born a citizen.

one easy way to end most birth tourism....is under discussion at the moment ...even if that isn’t usually a stated intent, it will surely impact.

To most consular officers this is basically a permanent ineligibility. Officers aren't personally offended when someone uses a tourist visa to work or live in the U.S., but people do get angry about this kind of thing. I don't think you're getting a visa for 20-30 years at least. The IR5 category will also probably be eliminated by the time the kid turns 21.

I once asked a hospital in Florida how someone could retroactively pay for a birth and was told the hospital had no mechanism for returning Medicaid funds. Even if the hospital can recoup the full cost of the service provided, you still effectively stole money from U.S. taxpayers. So I don't think paying it back is really an option.

Definitely possible to make an adjustment to Medicaid fund received, it's done all the time  - it's not a refund, it's an adjustment applied to the amount received in the following period. Still, OP would need to pay what she owes.

Are you saying that the U.S./state treasury actually gets its $6,000 back? Interesting.

I’m curious as to when this all happened - when was the birth, and when (and how) did you discover your B vIsa was withdrawn?

Probably a lot more than $6k, but subject comes up and it can be done, just obviously not very common.

I know in other areas involving medicaid it does happen so this should not be different.

Do you honestly believe customs will trust you won't become a public charge again?

Why did you think it was okay for US taxpayers to pick up the bill for your delivery? You could've owned up to the fact you traveled to the US with no medical insurance and made arrangements to pay the hospital back when you were being discharged.
