Where do you see the left defending MS13? Typical of many posters here, they can't let go of the hyperbole long enough to make the point they want to make. If you could get out of your own way once in a while, you might find people more amicable to discussion.

Maybe no discussion is wanted.

The federal data is available for anyone to see and it shows the same trend as the Arizona study. If that weren't the case you might have an argument. But in this situation there is no reason to doubt the Arizona study as much as the left hates to admit it shatters their narrative.

You  cannot  know if the federal numbers match the Arizona numbers , the Arizona numbers are not available. What peer reviewed studies are available on the Federal numbers? (And please don't cite Mr Lott for the fed study.

I agree with the President, time to get tough on MS-13. They are a menace to society and serve no useful purpose, like ISIS.

I am liking your posts.

Get off peer reviews.  They don’t always mean that much.  No peer reviews to prove that illegals are not walking across the border, yet the stat is out there.  Peer schmeer.

Getting rid of MS-13 is good for We, the People. It's not about Democrats and Republicans, it's what's good for us Ditto for ISIS. I hope the President can do what needs to be done to get rid of this riff raff. I'm all for reducing crime and making our lives safer. And sometimes it takes a hard line stance to get results.

A lot of the time you should be diplomatic, but sometimes you have to hit them hard.

What I meant was that the federal numbers match what the Arizona study seems to show. Why do we need a peer reviewed study of black and white numbers even a lay man can read and interpret? It's not up for debate or scientific review. This is 8th grade math here. Do you deny that federal numbers show illegal aliens commit more crimes than any other segment of the population and legal immigrants commit the lowest amount of crime?

I never claimed the left defends MS13. Rather they pretend they don't exist. Typical of other posters here. Putting words in other people's mouths.

Don't sneeze on our arm and call it a study. You are entitled to your opinion but calling this document a study is a joke. It is this point not an academic study. I have not seen the data set from either.

The Washington Times has no problem calling it a study. As far as the federal data goes that is publicly available so you can look at it and draw your own conclusions. However as I said there is no debate or scientific study needed. Only 8th grade math is needed to figure out the federal numbers show a similar trend to the Arizona study so there is little reason to doubt the results of the Arizona study. The facts are the facts and no amount of mental gymnastics will change that.

I think I see out problem.

Also I believe you may have insulted many 6th and 7th graders.

You don't have an academic study. To do that you need it peer reviewed and published in a journal aligned to your discipline. Because the data is not available, the research cannot be reviewed or duplicated.   This study maybe spot on or total garbage, we don't know at this point.

I'm wondering how it's even being called research if its yet to be peer reviewed.

Federal data is in fact bias due to our lopsided justice system. That's why stuff like this needs to be peer reviewed.

These guys' findings are quite the opposite. "Illegal immigrants are 44 percent less likely to be incarcerated than natives."
