The data speaks for itself. If I were a late January or early Feb filer I would fasten my seat belt!! You filers better get out of my way because the March bus is coming and I'm driving!!!!!! beep beep!!!

Met Dec. 4 2006

1st visit to Russia - Jan. 23-30.

Engaged Jan. 24

CSC recieved and pending - NOA1 March 1

Touched- March 9 - recieved NOA1 hard copy in mail.

2nd visit - March 12 -27

Touched - May 23 (pleeeeeeeeeeeease)

APPROVED MAY 22 (On 5/25 I did the RFE trick and the CSC said it was approved 5/22. The dufus at USCIS was completely positive they were only working on Nov. 2006 petitions)

May 30th- Petition leaves CSC for NVC.

3rd visit - May 31 - August 31 ( If all goes well she will come home with me!!!)

Left NVC June 11th (I called everyday since 5/30 and they never recieved it??? Then on 6/13 I called and it was not only recieved but already sent to the embassy 6/11?? 

INTERVIEW 8/22

July 3rd-Recieved Packet

8/22 Interview was a sucess!!!

8/31 We arrive at JFK. Problem free entry.

10/26 Married!

1/15/08 Sent I-485

2/26 NOA

3/21 Biometrics Appointment

3/29 Received EAD Card

It kinda does - but it would more so if more of us Jan filers had been approved by now. Not to get you down. Just don't set yourself up for soul-crushing disappointment if it takes longer. It really is, uh, crushing. believe me.

1-22-07 DHS cashes the I-129F check

1-23-07 NOA1 Notice Date

1-26-07 NOA1 arrives in the post

4-25-07 Touched!

4-26-07 Touched again!

5-3-07 NOA2!!! Two approval emails received at 11:36am

5-10-07 Arrived at NVC/5-14-07 Left NVC - London-bound!

5-17-07??? London receives?

5-20-07 Packet 3 mailed

5-26-07 Packet 3 received

5-29-07 Packet 3 returned, few days later than planned due to bank holiday weekend

6-06-07 Medical in London (called to schedule on May 29)

6-11-07 "Medical in file" at Embassy

6-14-07 Resent packet 3 to Embassy after hearing nothing about first try

6-22-07 DOS says "applicant now eligible for interview," ie: they enter p3 into their system

6-25-07 DOS says interview date is August 21

6-28-07 Help from our congressional representative gives us new interview date: July 6

7-06-07 Interview at 9:00 am at the London Embassy - Approved.

7-16-07 Visa delivered after 'security checks' completed

I-129F approved in 111 days; Interview 174 days from filing

Looking at the movement chart ( if I am reading it correctly) it looks like January fliers might be getting some action soon. I noticed monster jumps of approvals in each month. In November they approved 25% of the cases in 1 week. In December they approved 58% in 2 weeks. January looks alittle slow out of the gate but if history repeats itself I wouldn't be too suprised to see a nice jump in January approvals soon. November didnt see its biggest jump in approvals until 55.4% were already approved. At the very least this data shows the USCIS can pump some approvals out if they so choose too. So I interpet this data as the calm before the storm. :)

Today is April 30, though.

I think any predicting powers we've had based on Dec and Nov filers went out the window already.

Noooo I don't think so. They are just late by a week

2007-08-17 interview - approved!

2007-10-25 NOA1 for both applications

2007-11-19 RFE for AOS

2007-12-11 received letter with AOS interview date (Feb 2008) but none for biometrics appointment

2007-12-28 EAD touched

2008-01-07 Infopass: EAD approved on 12/28, status online not updated, received biometrics appointment

2008-01-26 Biometrics appointment

2008-01-28 EAD Card Production ordered, AOS and EAD touched

2008-01-30 EAD Card Production ordered again

2008-02-20 AOS Interview, verbally approved

2008-02-28 approval notice per mail.

November and December both had 25% jumps in one week. Is January not allowed?? Especially if they are behind? I think every day that passes increases the probability of such a jump. :) I wish the data went further back. Its not a big enough sample to know for sure.

Call me a pessimist, but I don't think queues are probabilistic. The further behind we get here in January, the further behind everyone gets for eternity. To be honest, I'd much, much, much rather go to my fiancee's country - especially since that government moves fast. They just have more strict rules about working when you're not a citizen :(
