good - thanks !

CSC is still behind. I find your MOVEMENT sheet quite useful.

Comparing movement for Jan-filers with Nov and Dec-filers, its behind by about 40%.

Nov-filers got 90%+ approval by end of Feb and Dec-filers got around 90% approvals

by end of March. In comparision, Jan-filers are only at 50% approvals and its end of April

already.

I think this tells us that all subsequent filers might see a delay now.

Not terribly encouraging

Don't forget free college in some states.

And I don't think it could be worse. I wouldn't mind waiting in the DMV for years if it was with my fiancee.

That'd be a valid complaint . . . if USCIS weren't self-funding. It's your fee dollars at work, plus some residual funds appropriated at the president's request to clear the backlog (technically those funds ran out at the end of FY 2006, though). Congress needs to appropriate MORE/ANY tax dollars to fund USCIS. I'd gladly forward tax dollars to reunify loved ones faster.

Quite true. It's a case of being a government agency that DOESN'T operate on our tax $$$. A rare enough thing. I'm with TimsDaisy.....what box do I check on my return to send a few tax dollars to USCIS? Sign me up.

Nope. Still all quiet on the western front.

I didn't think anything was worse than no-news. But now I'm thinking teaser-news IS worse. Approval come come literally any second. Or not for another 70 days! Ugh. Can't win. And am having a hard time moderating my stress level around this process.

Looking at the movement chart ( if I am reading it correctly) it looks like January fliers might be getting some action soon. I noticed monster jumps of approvals in each month. In November they approved 25% of the cases in 1 week. In December they approved 58% in 2 weeks. January looks alittle slow out of the gate but if history repeats itself I wouldn't be too suprised to see a nice jump in January approvals soon. November didnt see its biggest jump in approvals until 55.4% were already approved. At the very least this data shows the USCIS can pump some approvals out if they so choose too. So I interpet this data as the calm before the storm. :)

3rd visit - May 31 - August 31 ( If all goes well she will come home with me!!!)
