Can anyone please tell me how long it takes for uscis to go through our paperwork?  I filed for our spousal visa more than 60 days ago, I received the letter with receipt number to go into the uscis website. However, everytime I check, I get a message that they don't recognize my receipt number. I've even called uscis, to no avail or help.  What do I do?

they are slow to update the site

you don't do anyting / just wait

meanwhile go to your country's portal and read posts there and any questions, post on Morocco site for the best answers

you have K1 as filed for and say spouse as this site is (I guess) originally for you and now you file for spouse

spouse visa is a CR1

i hope you have spent qualiity time with your spouse and made several visits to Morocco as that is a demand by that embassy

Hello, I'm in America, my husband is in Morocco. We have been married since October. I was there in June and July and again in October. We have been communicating for more than a year and have known each other for 12 years. We submitted all proof of emails, phone conversations, pictures, videos, etc.  Signed affidavits from family and friends of our relationship. How long does it usually take to process through uscis?

Your timeline is very confusing

not sure if you came on a K1 and did all to adjust and get your USC or it is filled out wrong

normal processing from USCIS to NVC is about 9 months (give or take a few months )

no one can really answer that question

but it is now (if all things go smoothly) taking 14 months or so from start to interview

Casa is an extremely hard embassy

they want multiple visits

approval of the Moroccan family

no big age diffences

they expect to see a real strong relationship and Moroccans have trouble showing that as it is not part of their culture to express personal feelings to strangers

Good luck to your both

Forgive me, I'm not trying to be confusing. This is my story in short.  I'm a 55 year old woman, I met my Moroccan husband he is 48, we met 12 years ago. We have been friends all of these years. He proposed marriage to me 17 months ago. He bought me a ticket to Morocco to meet his family. I went and met his family and we had a huge engagement ceremony. I was going to file a k-1 visa, but after long consideration we decided to marry in Morocco with his family.  I went back for another month and we legally got married.  We prepared the I-130 and I-130A paperwork together, and when I arrived back to America, I filed with the uscis.  That was more than 3 months ago.  I received the letter from uscis and hot a receipt number. I was told that I could go to the uscis website to check our status of our application. However, everytime I go to the website, it tells me they don't recognize the number. My husband is still in Morocco, I'm still in America. We want to arrange for me to come for another visit, but don't know the process of uscis.  How long does the approval process usually take?  I am a Muslim American woman, we had a Muslim wedding that was witnessed by 2 imams, witnesses, family, friends, a translator.  I have spent 3 months in Morocco with my in laws. I have correspondence with all members. I'm not trying to be confusing, I'm just trying to get information.
