We got approval from the USCIS on November 28, 2017, 181 days after applying and received notice that

our paperwork would be sent to the NVC, and we should receive further notice within 30 days.

After 30 days I called the NVC, and was informed normal wait time was now a total of 4-6 weeks.
When the 6 weeks were up I called the NVC again, they gave me an email address and said email them and that should get the ball rolling.

On January 16,2018 the NVC finally informed us they had our paperwork and gave us a case number. However, on January 22, 2018 we were told the paperwork was being sent back to the USCIS, and if we wanted to know more to call the USCIS.

so just seeing if this has happened to anyone else, how long of a delay is it

This happened to us .

Noa2 oct 6th

under AP for 6 weeks at NVC , sent case back to USCIS Dec 6th for a clerical error .

Its been a horrible time for us, our case was lost in transit, we had to fill out a whole new petition, had that expedited and  approved Jan 6th, NVC received Jan 12th now back under AP for god knows how long .

We booked our wedding for march 31st , thinking that filing on may 5th we would have plenty of time .

We won't make it now but we now have to have a very expensive dinner instead as all my family are flying over from Australia.

keep calling USCIS , ask for supervisors, send an inquiry, you will get the run around like we did until we got the senator involved.

I recommended highly you do that, they were the only ones who got to the bottom of it .

If you have anymore questions msg me direct , I'll help out as much as I can with info.

It could be a simple clerical error which can end up costing months.

good luck 🙏 Hoping for a speedy fix up .
