USCIS Address Change Request

Hi All,

My fiancé, the petitioner of the I-129F, has recently changed address over Christmas (a couple of months after filing). She visited the USCIS website and completed the online change of address form in early January and shortly after received a confirmation email stating that the request had been submitted and to expect a reply by 17 January.

It's now almost 10 days later and no final confirmation has been received via post or email. She has tried to phone USCIS a couple of times but has had no luck getting through whatsoever :/

In this instance, is it safe to assume the request will be processed eventually? Or should we resubmit another change of address request, or continue to keep calling?

P.S. Her former address is actually her mother's residence, so worst case scenario if any items do turn up there she can still access it easily, but it's obviously not ideal.

All that will go to the mother's address is the letter of instruction from London. The instructions are online

Thank you for the info, that's useful to know. 

 

My fiancé created an account on USCIS yesterday and was able to see, using the receipt number, that the address change had been completed successfully - so looks like we were worrying for nothing!
