Does your fiance currently live in Pakistan or the US? She will need to prove US domicile (that she has a home, property, job, ect) in the United States. If she lives in the USA, what state does she live in? She will need to live in a state where 1st cousin marriage is legal.

The meeting requirement only means that you must have seen her in person at least 1 time within the past 2 years. Boarding passes, hotel recipients, and photos are all things that you can use to prove that you have met in person within the past 2 years.

Edit: Just saw your other thread...

she lives in pakistan with her parents and she lives in NC in USA with her aunt where cousin marriage is allowed its going to be more than a year she is living in pakistan and we didnt meet at hotels or anywhere she is cousin i meet her personally at her home or at functions

Congratulations on your engagement.  If you are with your fiancée, that means you met the requirement of meeting up with her in person within two years of filing your K1 application.  Does your fiancée live in the United States or is she living in Pakistan?  If she is living in Pakistan, it might be better to get married there and file for a CR-1 visa.  I am saying this for two reasons.  First of all, you can start your lives out as married people and then be waiting for immigration instead of waiting for people to let you get married.  Secondly, you mentioned that she is your first cousin.  That is not very socially acceptable in the USA.  Personally, I have nothing against it because I know a lot of Muslim people who do it, but I don't know if it is allowed in every US state.  You would have to check into that before getting here and finding out you aren't allowed to marry your first cousin.  If your fiancée lives in the United States and has an income to support you and everything checks out, you are good.  She is with you now and that puts you in the two year timeframe.  File away!  Good luck!

well thanks alot , she is in pakistan for more than a year and we are under 23 we cant be married so soon and i have heard fiance visa is faster and we got our relatives in NY and NC . plus in these two states cousin marriage is legal

I'm glad she lives in a state where it is allowed.  (And, I'm sorry that I said that it is not socially acceptable.  Uncommon is a better choice of words.  I have many friends from Syria, so to me it seems like part of life.)  Make sure you guys take lots of photos in different places and with family members.  They like to see that the family approves.  That is so convenient that you guys are in the same family!  You should have so many photos and proof of being in the same place at the same time and happy things to write about.  If she has an address and a source of income or co-sponsor in the US, you should be all set.

what about a US domicile thing ? Does she have to go back to US to establish or what is it . how much money or bank statement it takes to be your fiance sponsor or how much it takes to be a co sponsor i mean if my uncle would be the one

Fiancee visa is not so fast anymore and then you will have the wait for the work permit and the green card, etc. when you get here.  If you file for the spouse visa, it may take a few months extra, but right away you can work and get your green card.  I respect the fact that you want to wait a little longer to get married.  It's also good that she is able to live in Pakistan and get by there and that you have relatives in two different states.  That way, you guys will have options in case you don't like the first place you live in.  I am very happy that I like my fiancé's country and do not mind living there just in case he does not like living in the United States, we can go back together.  It is nice to have options.  Since you are young, it sounds like you guys will be free to make lots of choices and have a very happy life, Insha'Allah.

i know her since 2011 but we got engaged in 2016 may we didnt have any function .. what is actually meant by the condition for eligilibilty in k1 visa that you should met in 2 years or together for 2 years i mean how we will give a proof

You need to follow the K1 guideline here. This process right now is taking 8-12 months to get the visa in hand.

A domicile is an address or residence.  If she is living with an aunt who is also willing to take you in and provide a home, she has a domicile.  As far as the money is concerned, there are income guidelines.  She needs to be earning a certain amount of money per year.  I think it would probably be about $20,000 for the two of you.  Maybe less.  The reason for this is that they want to make sure she can financially support you.  They don't want to accept people and then have to take care of them with welfare or government services.  As a matter of fact, she will be financially responsible for you for 10 years in the USA.  So, it is a very big commitment on her part and a very serious decision to make.  That is why they are careful to check people to make sure they are really in love and the person is not using the US Citizen.  It is to protect us.  So, if she does not have a job, a relative or friend could support you and fill out the Affidavit of Support forms.  Make sure you have someone commit to this before applying.  If there is no job and no one to sponsor, she would have to have a lot of resources such as stocks and bonds or income from real estate or investments.  That is complicated.  I don't want to confuse you.  From what I can see, she might already have a domicile with her aunt.  If she gets any kind of decent full-time job, she will probably have adequate income.  She may need the aunt or someone as a co-sponsor because she has been in Pakistan for the last year, but I am sure one of your relatives in the US could help.  Does that make you feel a little better?  I hope so.  I hope I did not confuse you.

A household of 2 will need $16,240 for the K-1 Visa and $20,300 for the Adjustment of Status.  If the petitioner does not have that amount of income you can use a co-sponsor.

I recommend getting married in Pakistan and then filing a CR1 spousal visa. The CR1 visa will allow you to get a conditional green card right after you arrive in the US, so you are able to legally work and travel right away. Honestly the K1 visa is taking almost as long as the CR1 visa these days, so it may be worth it for you to look into the CR1 route.

I really think that this is probably the wisest advice you are going to get.

Immigration is not an easy simple task. Regardless of what you believe, it can take 3 - 4 months before you are able to work for the paper works to settle in with the K1 visa. If you do CR1, you can work right away. It sounds like you need a little more time to do research on this before you make a decision.

Your situation is not ideal for a K-1. Forget that it is about 6 weeks faster than a CR-1. You are already together in Pakistan so why the rush? That's useful for people who live thousands of miles apart and have no other option to be together. You need to think with your head, not your heart. Anyone who comes here with concerns about financial matters should seriously consider the CR-1 - the CR-1 is cheaper and allows you to work from the moment you arrive. Do you really want to start you new life living in the spare room at your wife's aunt' home with no income of your own? That can be very depressing. If your fiancé doesn't make $20,000 now just for herself, how on earth do you think she can keep 2 people on her small income?

People often say "we have family who can help" but are they aware you will be out of work for 4 months or more on a K-1? If you didn't even know that then I very much doubt the relatives do. When family say they will "help", they probably think you need a place to stay for a week, or they will let you use their car until you can get your own, not that they will have to feed, clothe and house you (and pay for your medical insurance?) for 4 months or more.
