Are you saying that you don't have your NOA1?  If you fill in your timeline it will help us.

The number is WAC  followed by either 1790 or 1890 (depends on the year) and then 6 numbers.  Do you have that?

PHILIPPINES ONLY!!!  CFO (Commission on Filipinos Overseas) INFO - Can't leave home without it!

PDOS (Pre-Departure Registration and Orientation Seminar) is for ages 20-59.  Peer Counseling is for 13-19 years of age.

It is required to have the visa in their passport for PDOS and Peer Counseling.

Some statuses in December is still giving validation error. There are quite a few of them. Usually gets resolved in 2 months but I don't know why it's taking this long this time.

so it's not just you, and you don't need to be worried yet as you have your noa1 but if you are you can contact them again.

Yes, I received the WAC1890xxxxxx and it says that after receiving th I-797 form I can check the case status.  I received the I-797 form 9 days after I mailed the application but the WAC number is not recognized by their status update field on the USCIS Website

I didn't realize that USCIS was that screwed up (but it doesn't surprise me!).  This is the longest wait period so hopefully it will just appear someday.

Naes is a great source of info as I was not even aware of those challenges.  Are you using an app?  You can search around your WAC # just to see if there is a big gap.  You can search 500 at a time.  Try starting 200 or 300 before your number.  The last 6 numbers are a simple sequence.

Hi guys yeah there is a good 2000+ cases with the similar error.

To the OP: give it till you got two months and then call them. There are other people having the same problem so they will probably call too.

Do not worry too much. It really is not about your case itself.

Yes, I’m using the USCIS App to see if the case shows as received entering the WAC number. Following your instructions of checking number the sequence I entered numbers before mine and numbers after mine by 100.  Those show as received but mine still comes up as invalid.  All the cases that came up are for I-130 applications.  Mine is a K-1 not sure if that matters at all.

i will keep waiting and hopefully it will show after 8 weeks.

No being stuck on I-130 is not issue.

But if I think giving them a call after 8 weeks would be a good idea.

good luck! let us know when you got it so we can let others know too ;)

I will let you know.  Have you heard what the wait time has been lately for K-1 applications from receipt date to NOA2?   Has the case load increased by a lot lately?  Some people say 6 weeks others 8 weeks or 5-6 months to get some sort of response or RFE.

any help is great.

thank you

thank you

6-8 week??? you meant month right?

right now, they are doing June and July cases.

average wait time at the moment 190-220 days.

so Noa1 to Noa2 would be 7 months on average, we are hoping it will go a little bit shorter.

Noa2 to NVC was taking 6-8 weeks for a while, but right now that went back to normal 10 days to 3 weeks. (although some are still waiting from the previous backlog)

Thank you.  Our case number from December 11th continues to show as invalid in their case status page.  I called and I get the same answer, it’s there waiting to be reviewed.

I heard that about 2 weeks ago they were going to work on their computers so those case currently not shown would come up as “Case Received”.  To this day still not valid.  Not sure if the fix they planned for didn’t work.

I'm sorry for that it must be nerve wrecking not to be able to see it. Just try not to worry, as you have the paper, and you are not alone in this problem.

Hope they'll do something about it.
