ECC for my Fil-American child

I am a US citizen my wife is a Filipino. Our child has a PH passport and US passport. We are moving to the US. What if any ECC do I need to obtain for our child before we get to the airport?

Do you know if the child will be flying out with the mother or alone?

If the child is flying with the mother and the father you pretty much will only have to worry about Travel tax that's it. Do you know if the mother has done a CFO/PDOS yet if it's her first time to the USA? Usually there isn't anything that is required for children to leave the Philippines if they are a FilAm as long as family member is fly with the child.

NONE!!!    There is not an ECC fee for citizens of the Philippines.     Being your child is a dual citizen    ECC is not even a consideration.

 

There will be travel tax required of both your wife and child

Before exiting the Philippines (after having the visa and CFO sticker in your passport) there is Travel Tax to be paid.  This can be paid at the locations listed in the link below

What visa does your wife have?  IR/CR-1 or an FA type?         If your wife has the IR/CR-1 she will also need to attend CFO- GCP before exiting.  If she has a different type of visa it would be CFO-PDOS

Doesn't matter if the child is flying with the mother, father or both .... ECC fees are for foreigner exiting the Philippines (if they stayed in the Philippines 6 months or more)
