Hi, so im

preparing for my medical . I was tested positive for syphillis in feb 2017 and had treatment . But I went the clinic for a recheck jan 2018 and they said they are un clear whether it’s gone or not as some numbers have dropped and some haven’t . I have proof I had treatment in feb 2017 . What happens as I’ve read sometimes your result stays positive for years after treatment!

Take proof of your treatment. You may get classified as having a Class A or Class B condition which will probably mean a new medical in the US or another check.

Details from the panel physician's technical instructions will be informative to you https://www.cdc.gov/immigrantrefugeehealth/exams/ti/panel/technical-instructions/panel-physicians/syphilis.html

That's the official word.
