I doubt I have ever been on topic after page 3 more than 50% of the time. I know you were trying to make his attack on lebron and lemon about race, but we all know his Twitter tantrums aren't about race.

 

I think he is doing a great job. He just needs to stop the personal attacks. Its makes him look foolish,  to slam a man like Lebron.  Don Lemon is another story

I still believe that people are largely responsible for what they do or say. Personal responsibility. We could use more of it instead of pointing fingers to blame someone else.

Sometimes when you travel the middle you have to swerve left  In this case I am going to almost touch the left ditch. I think the leader of the free world and the person who is supposed to put America first, has a greater  responsibility for discernment than a basketball player.  As do the press. However calling out Lebron and questioning his intelligence helps no one. I dont follow basketball, but have always admired the fact Lebron got many millions of dollars at the age of 18, and has always acted like a mature adult,, been a family man and given back to the community. If had millions at that age I would surely be broke or dead now.

I am all for personal responsibility, and I have been on the record regarding Twitter and Trump's or anyone's for that matter use of that childish platform.  The blame game comes from all sides as it always has and the biases are really starting to take off particularly in the leftist media.  A great example is the reporting this weekend of what Trump said about the supposedly infamous Trump Tower meeting that Trump Jr. took.  I am hearing all sorts of "Trump bombshell" or "Trump admits Russian collusion" reports about this.  Well Trump said the same thing over a year ago, and to anyone in politics it is obvious why Jr. took the meeting, and it is also understood that nothing came of it.  So why the media spin today about something that is not even close to a revelation?  Sure, reporters only report facts and claim to be unbiased, but where was the fact that Trump already admitted this a year ago in the NYTimes, or WaPo, etc., etc. etc.

To put it into perspective, if Trump were a CEHST regular, he would have been perma-banned long ago.  He says things that are very foolish and unprofessional, and I'm sure none of us here support nor like that about him.  

 

Acting like a spoiled child does degrade the office.  But it doesn't change the fact that we as a nation are in a better place today.  Enjoy it while it lasts, I say.
