So you come to a new country, then badmouth an entire generation for ruining the very country you immigrated to. And then have nothing to back up your claims.   Makes sense.

You asked we answered, I don't think where someone lives or lived excludes them from making observations about American culture.

I don't think the Boomers did it alone but when you look at the economic, Civic, educational and other advantages that generation had and you compare what was accomplished, no comparison to the greatest generation.

I don't know your parents, but if you say they are terrible people, who am I to disagree.

I don't know what part your parents had in bringing me to America, but I thanks I suppose.

No not really whining about my personal circumstances. I have a lot of empathy for those less fortunate than me. Yes, a weakness I know.

It seems the DNC only has empathy with no actions.  Hope and change.

Did you actually re-read  what you wrote?  I know being pessismistic is a virtue to many in the MDL, but most of these can be attributed to all of the past administrations and congresses regardless of which party is/was in control.

Did you see me attribute this to a political group it movement? The subject of the above items is the failure of the Boomers to live up to their potential.

How is that potential measured?  I am sure it is easy for one generation to blame another generation since this is fairly common, but it is hard to see how for instance the election of Trump was solely the fault of boomers.  And for the record, I am not a boomer.

What about the generations before them?  How well did we do as a country when the democrats used slavery to build the country?  While you’re at it, can you point us to a generation that made great strides in improving the US?  Because from where I am sitting, most of what you posted as “reasons” have been around since at least the 50’s and 60’s, when the generation you are blaming as the root cause for our terrible predicament today was busy smoking weed and making babies.

You might want to widen the perspective of your sunglasses a bit... your generation is just as much to blame as all the rest.

Enjoy it while it lasts.  Our generation will be on the chopping block soon.

I had a co-worker tell me a couple of years ago that OUR generation is to blame for why she can’t have anything nice today.

cool. i mean, i'm right on the cusp. i qualify as millennial to some researchers. but i don't go around flapping my gums about democrats using slavery to build the country. i think i'll be okay.
