Companies are putting tax savings in the pockets of shareholders

  • One of the big beneficiaries so far from the corporate tax rate cut has been shareholders.
  • Buybacks in 2018 have averaged $4.8 billion a day, double the pace for the same period a year ago, before Congress slashed the corporate tax rate in December, according to TrimTabs.
  • J. P. Morgan recently predicted that share repurchases would total about $800 billion this year, a new record.

Taken straight from the DNC class warfare playbook

So I take it you have zero money invested in any publicly traded commodity ?

I am investing in Silicon. Just a hunch Stormy Daniels is going to revive that business.

There is class warfare alright, just not so much the DNC. Sad you seem unable to see it. Seriously, baby boomers have destroyed America.

I’ll be sure and pass your sentiments onto my parents.  Would you like me to include my grandparents, too?

How, exactly, has that generation destroyed America?

1.They put Trump over the top

2. pillaging the nation’s economy,

3.repeatedlycutting their own taxes,

4.financing two wars with deficits,

5.ignoringclimate change, 6.presiding over the death of America’s manufacturing core, 7.leaving future generations to clean up the mess they created

Dang, my parents are terrible people.  Yours, too.  Should we get the Kremlin to invite them to dinner?

Just think, if it weren’t for them, you couldn’t be here whining about how terrible you have it today.

I don't know your parents, but if you say they are terrible people, who am I to disagree.

I don't know what part your parents had in bringing me to America, but I thanks I suppose.

No not really whining about my personal circumstances. I have a lot of empathy for those less fortunate than me. Yes, a weakness I know.

Not sure why you are responding to what I said to Mango, but I see you failed to respond to the original question, so lemme help you... what did they do that was so terrible for our country?

Mango already answered that particular question. Not sure why you wish to single out people to blame, that I to my knowledge have never met. I have noticed that many people here in America prefer to be indignant rather than question what they have been taught from an early age.

So you come to a new country, then badmouth an entire generation for ruining the very country you immigrated to. And then have nothing to back up your claims.   Makes sense.
