Hi everyone!

My wife and I recently sent out her K1 AOS packet on 1/20 through USPS using Priority Certified.  They told us it would most likely get there around Tuesday (1/23).  It's Thursday (1/25) and after looking up the tracking number I noticed that it arrived to the ELK GROVE VILLAGE IL DISTRIBUTION CENTER on the 21st and then was on Transit to Destination on the 22nd.  I now have a In-Transit, Delayed status and have also noticed it has been In Transit to Destination - On its way to CHICAGO, IL 60680 for three days (22nd, 23rd, 24th).  Is my package lost?  I used a Cashier's Check since I don't have any personal checks... Should I be concerned, or should I just keep waiting for a couple more days?  Thank you in advance!

Just keep waiting.... Give it until 1/27. Hopefully, USPS will get it together.

USCIS may receive your packet and give you NOA, but the USPS tracking will still say "In Transit". We sent our AOS packet back in December and USPS tracking still says "In Transit" for that package. Meanwhile we already received NOS at the end of December and got biometrics done earlier this month.  So don't be surprised to get NOA in a week or two while USPS will say "In Transit". :)

Thanks for the tips!

So over the weekend, tracking stated that our AOS packet was "Ready for Pick-up".  After doing some research, I saw that a few people have had their packets taken back to the post office for many reasons.  The following day (Sunday), I got a "Delivered" notification.  I'm assuming that someone came to pick up the package or it was delivered correctly to the location.  We have yet to receive any notification from the USCIS, so fingers crossed!

So we got text notifications from the USCIS, but all there indicated i-765... Is this normal?  We got 3 text messages and 3 emails all in regards to the i-765, but nothing for the i-485 and the i-130... I'm hoping there is an error and that all three were received...  Has anyone else experienced this?

There must be some issue because the same thing just happened to me - 'In Transit' for many days before finally being delivered.

Hi!  It ended up being delivered or picked up after being sent back to the Post Office.  We got our biometric notification and completed that.  Now we're just waiting...

Hope everything works out for you!

Sidenote, we now have an error when looking at the case status on the USCIS website when using the receipt number for the I-485.  The I-131 and I-765 still have the received notification from when they first received them...

Hi! We're also in the same boat with our K!>AOS being stuck "in transit" at USPS. It should've arrived last Wednesday, USPS kept updating to say it'll be delivered Thursday, and then Friday...but online it shows that it's still in transit and that it arrived "at unit" last Wednesday. Hopefully we'll get an update from either USPS or USCIS soon!
