Only one way of finding out.

At the end of the day, the Canadians will make the call. Since they have not (yet) contacted you and told you that your visa is canceled, in good faith, your visa is still valid.  As others have told you, though, the information that surfaced later in your American visa is likely to end up with the Canadians. April is a couple months away, by then you should probably get a notification if they void your visa.

Canada won't notify him of anything---OP won't find out whether he can cross until he reaches the Canadian border.

Sorry but this made me smile. Calling attention to yourself much?

"Hey Canadians,

Just in case the Americans have not alerted you, this is a brief note to bring you into the loop: letting you know that they cancelled my visa. Are you going to cancel the one you issued me too?"

You also really do not know why your US visa was cancelled, so you have said, so exactly what 'everything' did you explain to the Canadians? But then, I guess, it is better than burning airfare all the way to the port of entry and being told visa is no good.

This is the question which I'm asking myself every day

I wrote what happened to me  here

http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/659769-usa-visa-canceled-for-new-information-became-available/

Thank you for your answer

It seems as though they may have thought you were working while here with your visitor visa. The US and Canada share information.. no one can l give you the definite answer you're looking for. The only thing you can do is wait for a decision at this point.

Hello,

I had USA Visa its cancelled without notes after I visit the USA . and after asking the reason for cancelling I got this email

"New information became available after the visa was issued so that we must re-evaluate your eligibility for the visa. Therefore, you will need to re-apply for a visa and the officer we will determine your eligibility at that time. "

I applied again and I'm still under AP with Yellow slip, in the embassy interview they didn't stamp my visa,

also, have Canadian Visa and I'm planning to Vist in April so can this Cancelled visa affect my Canadian visa or the Canadian border control give me trouble for it ?

  • I didn't overstay in the US
  • I stayed there for 13 days only
  • I didn't do anything wrong while my visiting the US

Thanks for any answer

You should be fine been that you were advised to reapply. It only means that after you were approved the nonimmigrant visa something came up that was not cleared during your interview and they just need to clear that.

And yes U.S and Canada share information but Canada has not canceled your Canadian visa as of now, so my guess will be to go through land and see what happens if you are still in the U.S.

If they think like that it will be fine because I have proof for the reasons for my visits

What type of visa will you be entering Canada with?

After the education fair, are you planning on discussing commercial agreements/contracts with schools (as you did in the US)?

What will you be telling border officials as to your reason for entering?

Those answers are important as to whether Canada will deny you as well.

On face value, you should be fine entering Canada with the V1 to attend the fair, but again it all depends on what the "additional information" was that surfaced with the US visa as it may affect you at the border.  Hopefully you can find out what that "additional information" was.
