EAD Expedition

I applied for my i-765 on December 6^th, 2017. I have about two months before my start date since I applied for EAD. After reading online forums on expedition, I thought it would be good to apply for expedition. I went to field office in Kansas City, officer asked me to mail the request letter and supporting documents to mailing address (Potomac service center) listed on my I 797-c. I wrote letter based on severe financial loss to me and company with justification. I included my offer letter, house leasing form and other supporting documents for my expedition.

Time Frame:

12/06/2017 – Packet received at USICS

01/05/2018 – Expedition letter sent to USICS (Potomac service center)

01/11/2018 – Expedition got approved and sent to officer for review

01/16/2018 – Card sent to production

01/19/2018 – Card was mailed to me

01/24/2018 – Received EAD card
